We live in a two story home. It is a 90 year old home and we updated it, thus it is a newly renovated home with a nice kitchen and a large living area and a finished basement. We have an entertainment center towards the back of the house near the kitchen. The entertainment center is also our family room and has a bathroom. We have a decent back yard wherein we hang out and eat bbq during summer days. The home is located on a quiet and safe neighborhood. In New York, being a diversified city, location is a key to living a safe neighborhood. The village has its own police so kids can roam around the area and be safe. We have nice and friendly neighbors. The village maintains a tree lined community, so there is always fresh air. We are close to the recreation center wherein it has tennis court, volleyball court, picnic area, soccer area, dance area, swimming pool and basketball court. My favorite spot is the library (about 5 minutes walk) wherein we rent free movies and books. The village has several parks, my favorite is the bird sanctuary. In our house, once you open the front door, you will see the living room. There is hardwood floors downstairs and upstairs. There is the formal dining room and kitchen with a granite island table. The formal dining room has a table for 8. We have a beautiful white and black stairs that will take you to the second floor. The laundry room is located in the basement and has a washer and dryer and hanging racks to dry clothes. There is a TV area on the basement as well. Once you go upstairs, you will see a bathroom and the three bedrooms.

My name is Agnes and my husband’s name is Anthony. We have been married for 4 years and we have 1 child (Axel) and a dog (Asher). Axel was born in July 2014 and is 10 months (while I write this letter). He is a very precious child and loves to hear music and play. He is very curious and loves to mumble words. Asher is a shitzu and a very friendly dog. He loves to fetch and play. If the weather is good, he loves to stroll outside. Axel and Asher are best of friends- they love each other.

My husband and I are originally from the Philippines and graduated in one of the prestigious University there. I have a Bachelor of Accountancy and currently a CPA in the Philippines and in the U.S. I worked with Marcum LLP, it is one of the largest independent public accounting and advisory services firms in the United States. My husband is a Physical Therapist and worked in a clinic in long island. We have been working for about 20 years on the same field of expertise.

I am a working mom and always want my family to be happy. If I have spare time I cook and I also enjoy making crafts, scrapbooking, taking pictures, eating and watching movies at home with my husband. Anthony enjoys watching movies and sports games. As a family, we love going to the park, going to church on Sundays and eating (bbq in our backyard during summer days).

We are both raised and actively practicing Catholic religion. We celebrate all Christmas, new year and Thanksgiving holidays. We also celebrate other holidays such as July 4 (independence day) and during Halloween, we attended parties and dress up in costumes. We are a member of couples for Christ- it’s a family oriented catholic group . We believe of living a good life and thus, are open to all religions and philosophies of life, as long as it is about living a good and healthy life.
