I am a retired nurse with a lovely home in the center of the safest city in California. I have a small poodle terrier mix dog that lives here with me. He is a friendly pooch that loves to greet visitors. I have a four bedroom home, however to comply with city ordinance I am only able to rent out one room at a time. Also I am only able to accept guests that stay longer than 30 days.

Our home is suited near many parks. It is conveniently located near two shopping centers equipped with stellar restaurants for dining experiences as well as for your shopping needs. There many great walking trails, bike trails as well athletic courts. There much to do around town.

Water scarcity in California. We are in a drought and we have to limit one shower per day for 15 minutes.

They are warm, welcoming, and always make you feel at home. Their hospitality is unmatched, and they go above and beyond to ensure your comfort and happiness. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the family is always willing to offer local insights and recommendations. They are always available to answer any questions you may have and make sure you have everything you need. Staying with this host family is truly a delightful experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay

I never believed that I would have a family except for my family but I believed that after spending 1 month and 2 weeks with the family of Ildiko, I was well received, they helped me a lot, showed me places, and drove me where I can get my groceries, SIM card, US bank account, and many other necessities. I was not seen as just a customer but as a member of their family, and that's why I will be eternally grateful to them and consider them as MY family. I strongly recommend this place.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
