Private room available with full use of house, shared bathroom. Room includes King Size Bed.
Family consists of Mom (me!:)) and boy/girl 19 year old twins.
Great location! 20 minutes from shopping mall. 30 minutes from beach. 1.5 hours from NYC, bus service in walking distance. Near colleges and universities. One hour from Atlantic City. Gym Nearby (3 minute walk).
We will only accept requests in which the guest introduces themselves and tells us a little bit about what brings them to New Jersey. Automated requests with the standard sentence from Homestay will NOT be accepted. Sorry.

Non smoking guests only. No pets. Home does have two dogs (YorkiePoo and Golden Retriever puppy). Please be pup- friendly! =)

As part of the business trip to the USA we sent Stanley to the Jackson/Lakewood area and he stayed with Mia's family. Here is review of his 2 months stay.

Mia was kind enough to accept my request even though I applied as a boy. She helped me with every little information I needed before flying to the states and she even prepared some nice gifts for my stay. From the very beginning Mia and her 2 teenage kids made me feel as part of their family by explaining and showing me everything in the house and area around. She has offered me to use any food in the house for small weekly fee which was the best decision ever since her cooking is just exceptional. During the stay her whole family tried to help me with everything they could, introducing me to their friends, driving me to groceries and shopping malls, showing me cities and areas arounds and much more. Mia, her kids and dogs certainly have a lot of experience with hosting guests and exchange students as they are able to create exceptional and memorable experience. Their house is clean and loving with 2 cute dogs, area is quite with shopping malls, groceries stores and gym just around the corner.
I left their house after two months in sadness as such a great experience came to end so quickly. I did make extended family in the states and I cannot wait to see them all again either in states or in Europe. I recommend this family and house to anyone who will treat it as their own.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
