About the Homestay

The hosts Franco and Kay occupies one of the two master bedrooms at the opposing end of the house and the only thing they will be sharing would be the kitchen and living room area some of the times.
The hosts are in the mid 60's and do not use the kitchen much and normally when they do it is for short period and it it is immediately ready clear of anything they use as well as the dishes use that are clean and stocked if they are not using disposable plates. But when guests are at the home they try to avoid using the kitchen as they respect their guests and they are priority over their. During the day Franco stays in his office most of the time and Kay likes to stay in the Master Bedroom that is like a small suite. They do not mind to interact with the guest also but they respect the guest wishes and privacy. Their master bedroom is on the opposite end of the house all by itself, where the rooms of the guests are totally on the opposite other end.
Franco could get the guest a few comps to see some shows during your stay, since most of them they have already seen but no guarantees that during your stay they will be available. This is only a host generosity thing and shouldn't be implied as a must thing . The hosts are friendly people. Franco is Italian, Kay is Japanese. Franco speaks 4 languages (English, Italian, Spanish and French) Kay speaks English and Japanese. This house is amazing.
The kitchen, pool, spa, theater room, Living room and your room(s) and your private bathroom are available for your use.

Interaction with Guests
We are very friendly and we do not mind interact with our guests and we could also show you around time permitting if you need or want to. Sometimes we have access to some show tickets to some selected shows that we could give you if you choose so and save you some money on the night out. They are not the too expensive shows but they are good enough to entertain you and your party. This is something that I cannot guarantee all of the times but depending on the dates you come and the availability this could be a little bonus for you.

We live in a very safe gated community with only 6 more other custom homes and everyone here watches for each other and very safe.
Getting around
We are withing 15-20 minutes from the Downtown/Strip, Summerlin, Red Rock State Park and 30 minutes from Mt. Charleston.
Just 1.5 miles from major freeways and beltways and 1 block away from CAT Las Vegas Bus Transportation System
Other Things to Note
You will love this place. Short drive to the Strip, down town and if you want see nature the red Rock State park is within 20 minutes and Mt Charleston 30 Minutes from our house. And if you want to go to Lake Mead or Hoover Dam plan 30 to 45 minutes from our home.

House Rules
Guests must clean after themselves if they wish to use the kitchen.
**THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE** If it is discovered while you are staying that you are smoking in the home, you will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund, and possible forfeit of your security deposit. If it is discovered after you vacate, there will be a charge to deodorize the home & its belongings. This will come out of your security deposit. We allow smoking outside in the back or side of the home, away from opened windows & doors, as long as your butts are thrown away.
** ABSOLUTELY NO DIVING FROM TOP OF WATERFALL PLATFORM AND NO STANDINGS ON TO OR HANGING WHATSOVER ONTO THE PLATFORM FROM BELOW**
** ALL TOILET PAPERS MUST BE DISPOSED IN THE TRASH CANS PROVIDED IN EACH BATHROOM AND NOTHING OTHER THAN HUMAN DISCHARGE ARE TO GO IN THE TOILET (JOHNS, WATER CLOSET, TOILET BOWLS) **. We are on a septic system not Public Sewer and it is a must that you follow and respect this condition.
Check in is at 2 pm and check out is at 11 am unless we have back to back bookings in which case check out will be 10am (for departing party) & check in will be 3pm (or earlier depending on how long it takes to clean). Early check in will be allowed on a case by case basis depending on availability. We will try our very best to accommodate every request.
You can park in the drive away closer to wall as possible but not past the Orange cone. Two cars can be parked here. Do not block DRIVEWAY or Park before or after the Mail Box leaving at least two cars full length space from the mail box. If you want to cook bring your food and drinks. Certain things such as paper towels, napkins, salt, pepper, oil, spices, sugar, oil, vinegar and other common things are already here so you do not need to buy for. We will provide you Continental Breakfast. But hey you are in Las Vegas and certainly you may want to go out dining, buffet or? If you need you can feel like home here. You can even BBQ especially if you come in the hot days of the summer and have your pool party. If using the pool we ask not to dive from the waterfall platform. If you have kids you must supervise them. The pool is a lot of fun and there is a slide to get up and slide down to the water. No loud music on the street in front of the house or activities unless per-approved by us. At home or in the back yard we are okay to go a bit wild but at midnight we ask that we turn down any loudness.

Franco and Kay were the perfect hosts in Las Vegas. With an amazing home 15 miles outside of downtown, their Homestay was a great oasis of relaxation and comfort, that even comes with a pool. Not to mention the welcome of Copper their dog.
With an interest travel that rivals and surpasses even my own, Franco and Kay have stories to tell from all over the world, and a genuine interest in cultures from far and wide. May used the power of Youtube to cook her first Irish breakfast for me, an incredible touch.
Franco too played his part, taking me to the old downtown to show me the other part of Vegas.
If you are looking for a friendly stay away from the strip, Franco and Kay are it.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
