We are a family of three. Father, former New Yorker, Mother a native of the Philippines and our 9 year old son. We have hosted a Chinese student for three years. We live on the top floor of a classic 1930s art deco duplex. It features hard wood floors, vintage fixtures, strong internet, large grassy backyard with soccer goal and patio with internet, blue tooth for music, fire pit and BBQ. This unit also feature central AC & heat. There is a refrigerator in the garage as well. We have extra bicycles, flat screen TVs and direct with every channel in every room. The room we are renting has its own bathroom with shower and a brand new queen mattress and bed. We have a washer & dryer and a nice kitchen for cooking. We are located in the Miracle Mile area close to museum row, UCLA, USC, The Grove, Hollywood, Griffith Park, LA Zoo, Universal Studios, Beverly Hills, Downtown LA and less than 30 minutes to the beach and Santa Monica. The Metro station is only a half mile away.

About the Area
Our home is located in the Miracle Mile are of Los Angeles. We are near the corner of Redondo and San Vicente which is a safe, upscale neighborhood. We have just hosted four groups of guests who took advantage of our location near: The Grove, The World famous International Farmers Market, Museum Row, Downtown LA, Staples Center, Hollywood, Griffith Park, Beverly Hills, UCLA,USC,Universal Studies and a less than 30 minute ride to the Santa Monica beach. We are close to hospitals and only a 1/2 mile to the Metro Train Station.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
