We are: a 2 person household, in a spacious 3 bedroom apartment in a safe coveted, area of Harrisburg, PA.
Surrounded by trees and lots of nature.
The area is filled with lots of shops, different restaurants and fresh produce markets, banks galore, vineyards, breweries, wild life preserves & the famous Hershey Chocolate town close by . . . you get the idea. Transportation is primarily driving or Uber/Lyft.
We are a pet household and ours are cats, 3 to be exact, but they are also well behaved. As well, we are a substance free, non-smoking household and request the same in our guest(s). If you are of age, wine and spirits are fine.
There is cable in the bedroom, internet/wi-fi (if you have a laptop) and unlimited US calls that are all included in your stay as is the washer/dryer facilities (within reason).
This homestay is perfect for any student (Grad or Under Grad), foreign exchange student, travelling singles &/or couples. We are conveniently located close to any Harrisburg college/university & many historical/cultural venues.
The room is bright with lots of sun, furnished with a Queen reclinable bed, a night stand with a generous closet that has its own shelving.
We will provide meals for an additional charge that can be tailored to your needs and can be discussed at length during the booking phase.
Additional Info
If you are renting a car, there is available street parking. We are somewhat conversant in Spanish. Also, if you wish to add a second person or have a guest while you are here, it is an additional charge of half the daily rate.

About the Area
The area is filled with lots of shops, lots of different restaurants of varying cultures and fresh produce markets, a world famous farmers market, banks galore, as well as vineyards, breweries, the famous Hershey Chocolate town is about a half hour away & wild life preserves . . . you get the idea.
Transportation is best by car, although there is a bus stop right outside the complex & there is plenty of parking.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
We ask for basic considerations in our guests; clean up after yourself, whether in the bathroom or kitchen. You are welcome to cook/prepare any food you bring into the house, but please wash whatever dishes you have used when finished. Keep your electric usage conservative and if you are coming home late, just be quiet when you come home. No candles or prepared food in the bedrooms please.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
