The house is located on the Queens/Brooklyn border. We are 20 minutes from JFK Airport by subway and Airtrain and 20 minutes away from La Guardia Airport by car.
The house is a 5 minute walk to the Manhattan bound J and Z trains. Both trains take you directly to downtown Manhattan, Financial Center, World Trade Center, Statue of Liberty and Battery Park, Brooklyn Bridge,The Heliport, City Hall, and SoHo shopping. You can also transfer from the J or Z trains to the E, L, A, M, F, C, 2, 3, 4 , 5 and 6 trains to get to other areas of the city like Times Square, the Theater District/Broadway, Rockefeller Center, Madison Square Garden, Empire State building, Fifth Avenue, St Patrick's Cathedral, Central Park, Yankee Stadium, Coney Island beach, museums and art galleries. All the tourist attractions in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan,Bronx, Staten Island and parts of New Jersey are accessible from my house by train. You can be at many destinations in less than an hour. In addition to all this the house is located right next to the second largest park in the city, Forest Park. The park has free tennis courts and an 18-hole golf course. This area of Queens is very safe!

The house is not a hotel. Is a family home
Please turn off the air conditioner before you use the blow dryer. The power might go off in your room.
I will give you the code to the door and the Wifi information upon your arrival.

It war a very nice stay! We felt really welcome in Yolanda's home! She saved the day for us by preparing coffee in the morning :)

Hi everyone, Yolanda and her family are so pretty. She tries to fulfill all wishes and ask when you are leaving the house, to be sure you have a coffee in the morning. Everything was clean and she was very endeavors that we have everything. The location of the house is near the metro (7 mins to walk) and with this metro Manhatten is reachable in 40 minutes. All in all, the cost-benefit ratio was perfect for us.

Patrizia was a respectful and friendly guest. She and her friend were very busy tourist, taking advantage their time in New York to go out sightseeing. I recommend Patrizia future hosts.

Stayed at Yolanda’s for the second time. Would definitely recommend it as it feels like a second home to me know. The hosts are extremely welcoming and I will be sure to return soon.

This was our third time at her place. We really love NYC and Queens is one of our favorite places. Yolanda was very kind, as always, and her house is amazing. The region is safe and not far from Manhattan. Next time we visit NYC, we will stay there again! Thanks Yolanda!

Nice room with enough space for two people. Everything was clean. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby. I would stay again at Yolanda´s place.

This was a third time that we stayed at Yolanda's house and we loved it. She is very friendly and welcoming. The room is clean and has everything we need. The house is very close to the train station, the neighborhood is quiet and has shops, pharmacies and markets. When we return to NYC we would like to stay at Yolanda's house again. Thanks for everything Yolanda. See you soon!

Yolanda is an ideal host, very friendly and helpful. The house is located a few minutes from the shops and the train to Jamaica or Manhattan. Just around the corner is a lovely park if you want to go for a walk.

Notre hôte Yolanda était super, Rue tranquille proche arrêt de métro et bus. 25 minutes environ de Manhattan. Nous sommes restées une semaine. Chambre avec le confort nécessaire proche de la salle de bain. Je recommande si vous voulez passer une semaine à new York à moindre coût :)

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
