Room in a beautiful two family limestone house in residential area. Next to prospect park the second largest park in New York city. 15 minutes by train to Manhattan. Close to fine restaurants and shopping.
Professional, who travels the world preaching,training and developing programs. Access to beautiful living room with big screen TV, WiFi, fireplace and cable. Quiet space, immaculately kept.
My home is located close to the World Famous Barclay Center, approximately four stops on the train. The famous amuse park, Coney Island which is home to the world's oldest roller coaster is just a couple of stops on the Q or F trains. In the summer you can experience the beautiful water at the beach as well as the food, (Nathan's world famous hot dog) rides and shows at Coney Island.
Around the corner from my home there are a series of fine restaurants and Dining areas example, The Lark with their freshly baked, croissants, danishes and muffins and fantastic coffee and lattes, there is a Thai restaurant which is always crowded because of the great tasting food, there is a Caribbean restaurant with their great cuisine, two bars and many other fine dining areas all with internet access.
Located next to Prospect Park, you have acres and acres of land to explore. Boating on the lake, skating on the rink, nature trails, numerous events depending on the season, horseback riding, cycling are a few of the activities that you can enjoy at the Park.
Light Breakfast: Orange juice and crackers will be available for the guests outside their rooms.

House Rules
Guests will have to show a negative PCR covid 19 tests taken three days prior to stay and if vaccinated proof of vaccination.
No smoking, no drugs or alcohol. No Long Showers.No overnight guests. Respect of privacy. No loud music. Room will be cleaned daily. Room must be by 10: am for cleaning.
Payment Method: Please note that we require our guests to pay 50% of the booking total to us in advance of the booking to hold your room (on top of the 15% service fee paid to Homestay.com. I will give you the details of my Paypal account after the booking has been made. Payment must be received into my account 48 hr after the booking has been confirmed.
Cancellation Policy: We ask our guests to give us at least 7 days’ notice of any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded.

This owner, Judith, is very hospitable and kind. She made breakfast for me every morning and told me how to go to Manhattan.
And she was tolerance to communicate with me even though I'm Japanese and my English skill is not so good.
I really appreciate her. I recommend any Japanese her house.

The room is clean. Judith is helpful. She was kind enough to arrange reliable transport to the airport for me. Her son was very helpful as well. He so willingly came to my assistance when i encountered a nasty experience in Manhattan. However she indicated that no breakfast is included, even though her advert says a light breakfast of orange juice and a cracker. She stated that her busy schedule means that she is not always around to provide breakfast. She did however provide me with breakfast on the first morning of my stay. There is a policy of no shoes when you enter. So one has to remove one's shoes when one gets in. It is extremely dark when you come late as no light is switched on at all. There is also a lack of ventilation. I appreciated the privacy and the prayer.

Hunsa is a warm person who kept my home clean. In response to not walking in the house with shoes please note that this is a sanitary situation. After walking in the street where there is filt and other unsanitary conditions, taking off ones shoes at the door is significant since one is coming into a carpeted space where we lie and relax. There was a situation which is documented where in the room itself there were stains and other fragments in the carpet and I had to call in my carpet person . Eventually we had to get a hard brush with soap water to remove the stains. Further, Hunsa did mention about the dark coming in because no one would leave lights on all day and night especially in New York due to cost. She was shown where the light switches were , close to the door upon entry. In addition in regards to ventilation. It is a room on the lower floor, however the guest leaves in the mornings and returns at night not witnessing the open doors for cross ventilation. If there was no ventilation, the place would be musty and not fresh where the sleep is comfortable as was reported. As per the light breakfast, once she mentioned it, I immediately called Homestay letting them know that i do not provide breakfast based on my schedule. I then moved on Homestay's advice and rectified the situation. Further for three mornings I came down to the guest's room three times and she was sound asleep. The last time was 9:30 am. I cannot wait when I too have to work. I informed Hunsa that I came down three times she said don't worry because she found a place where she can get "a little something"

I really thank Judith for her warm welcoming and her great help in a time I really needed it. She is so loving, generous, and besides a woman of God. I really recommend this place. Not only is it a place to stay if you visit new york but also it is a life changing place.

My stay was GREAT! Ms. Judith is such a sweet, kind, woman of God! It was such a blessing to stay in her home! It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Next time I take a solo trip to New York, I won't hesitate to stay at her place if it's available. I will most definitely keep in contact with Ms. Judith!

I can't thank Judith enough. Very warm, kind hearted soul that made me feel like her son. Her house is located in a great neighbourhood, with some great food spots nearby and within walking distance from a few train stations.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
