We are a family of three. We have lived in our current neighborhood for over 13 years. We love NYC and love sharing our home. Robye enjoys cooking and Steven is an accomplished musician. Our daughter Ava is 5 years old. She is a joy and we are so thankful to be her parents.
We have been hosting students and visitors for over 10 years. Hospitality is one of Robye's gifts and she hopes to own a Bed and Breakfast one day.

This is a large room with 2 single beds or 1 king. There is a lot of sunlight from the south. The bathroom across the hall is private to guests as we have two bathrooms in the unit. The cleaning fee is $80 and is not included in the price quoted.

Our flat is located on the North side of Manhattan near Columbia University. We are with walking distance of many restaurants and shopping. The subway is only two blocks away.

    Wallace family are amazing! Smart couple, adorable daughter. We had a lovely dinner with them and our experience was great. the room and bathroom super clean and tidy.

    Esperienza incredibile! Robye e la sua famiglia sono fantastici! Discreti e ospitali e disponibili per tutto! La stop Metro è vicinissima e in poco tempo arrivi dappertutto e puoi prenderla in tutte le ore senza alcun pericolo ! Il quartiere di Harlem è davvero caratteristico ed è il vero cuore di Manhattan !
    Da rifare sicuramente !

    The location is very close to the metro, in a nice place. The room is comfortable, the apartment very clean and, best of all, are the people who live there. They made me feel very comfortable all the time. I loved meeting little Eva. Robye is very sweet and helped me whenever I asked. I want to thank this family for receiving me in such a nice way.

    This Robye's home stay is really awesome.Robye has special hospitality. They treated us like a real family.

    My experience with Roby's Family was wonderful.
    My children loves them.
    They was so kind and helpful with us.
    The Subway was under 5 minutes of walk.(line C or B)
    There was Starbucks or Best Market to buy what you need to cook if you want.
    A big kiss to Ava she was so nice and cute with my little girl.
    I defenetly come back again.

    Robyes appartment was perfect for our stay. It was very tidy and neat. There was enough food to choose from for breakfast in the fridge. The beds were comfortable. It is close to the next metro/bus stations.

    Tout était prêt pour notre arrivée, Robye est très chaleureuse et accueillante. Appartement bien située, on se ballade dans Manhattan très facilement, en toute sécurité à n'importe quelle heure du jour et de la nuit. Vraiment super !

    Without hesitation, I would come back to Robye and Steven' s place. They are great folks, giving you good advices, making you feel confortable. The metro is very close, very convenient. Yes, I do recommend this place for sure.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
