About the Homestay
We have been hosting young people for over 5 years and love having visitors with us. We often have two or three guests at a time making for lively conversations. My husband and I have two friendly dogs and a cat. Our home is a short distance from downtown Boston and Harvard Square with public transportation just steps from the front door. I stayed there together with my husband for a little more than 6 months. Such an amazing welcoming environment. It feels like you are part of a family. They will really try to let you feel at home, they cook amazing (yes!) food and you can talk with them about literally anything. The animals are very friendly and great to have around. The house is big, we stayed in the brown bedroom, very good bed and a lot of space to work and relax. Good bathroom as well. It's walking distance to buses to Boston and we biked a lot as well.
Would definitely stay there again and if we ever go back to that area we would contact them for sure.
Best.Host.Ever. Tabetha and Lee are so lovable and affectionate who will treat you as part of their family. I really felt home during the short stay with them.
I stayed in their Pink bedroom for a month. The room is cozy and the bed is really comfortable. Tabetha and Lee are very welcoming and very helpful. There is a well equipped kitchen where we make our own breakfast. We always had salads and different kind of dinner every night. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with big houses, not crowded. The location is blocks away from the MBTA bus stop and 2min drive to the I-90 highway. There are two big dogs, they are well trained and very friendly. I had so much fun staying with this family. Thank you so much to Tabetha and Lee for hosting me for a month, I surely enjoyed every single day of it. Good Luck to you all! ---Ella
Tabetha and Lee are absolutely amazing hosts! They really make you feel like being part of a family.
I received a very open and warm welcome without any awkwardness and they really helped me settling down in the city with lots of useful advices. The food they cook for dinner is simply delicious and very diverse, so I enjoyed coming home in the evening to have dinner and a chat with them.
The rooms are all spacious, furnished with a comfortable bed and a desk so you can study or work in your room.
Be prepared to share some space with the two dogs. I loved that as these guys are very friendly and playful.
To sum it up, I had a splendid time in their house. The 5/5 rating comes from the heart.
Thanks for all the notable memories!
Em Inglês posso tentar dizer, com o auxilio do tradutor on line: I spent 30 days with the couple and Tabetha Lee, his two beautiful dogs and also two cats. My English is still very poor and this detracted from our communication, unfortunately. But the experience was very good, language immersion and an American home. The couple is very quiet, their pets are very sociable, the house is in an exceptional location, the room they gave me is very good and large, the highlight undoubtedly is due to the cuisine. Always cook different things at night. The dinners, even the simplest, are very good.
We have been three weeks at Tabetha's home. We were family with two kids. Everytime we have felt like our own home. Tabetha and Lee have been we are considered us as part of your famiky. Thanks a lot for leaving saty with you!! If we would return to Boston we would back to accomodate in Tabetha' s house.
