Property description: Woodsy open space with walking trails and wild life occasionally seen; deer, wild turkeys, quite neighborhood. Close to 2 freeways; hwy 580 and hwy 13 – 20 minutes from San Francisco with no traffic. Surrounded by 4 Universities. Drive/Uber to downtown Oakland., Jack London Square, Lake Merritt, a beautiful lake in the heart of the City. Children’s Fairyland a famous young child fantasy park 10 minutes away by car or Uber
The Space: Cozy home:5 bedrooms, 3 occupied, 2 floors – 2 bedrooms on top floor with living room and kitchen and 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fireplace, kitchen and deck. 3 bedrooms downstairs with a laundry room, half bath, small refrigerator, very large family room with television, cable and internet, and a fireplace.
Guest Access: Laundry room, 1 full and 1 half bathroom, kitchen with a stove top, microwave, confection oven, coffeemaker and a refrigerator small and large. Bathroom with a small Jacuzzi tub and laundry with washer and dryer and free on street parking accept on early morning Thursday garbage days.
Interaction with Guest: 4 bedrooms are occupied, as well as 1 of the 2 full bathrooms and the upstairs Living Room. 2 bedrooms are available to traveling nurse customers and the Large Family room. Fireplace use is limited and only available upon request.

About the Area
Our house is located in a quite intimate neighborhood. The neighborhood is a woodsy open space with walking trails and wild life occasionally seen; deer and wild turkeys. The house is close to 2 freeways; hwy 580 and hwy and 13 – 20 minutes from San Francisco with no traffic. It is surrounded by four Universities. Downtown Oakland, Jack London Square, Lake Merritt (beautiful lake in the heart of the city), and Children’s Fairyland (famous young child fantasy park) are only 10 minutes away by car or Uber.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
