I am an architect-designer, whose expertise is in architecture, historic preservation, + build and I also offer consultant service. I design and renovate distressed urban property, to drive urban renewal in blighted neighborhoods.
Xin is a talented graphic designer and has designed graphics for various companies in China. She now helps clients improve their existing websites and social media links and presence online. She earned her master's degree in Art Education from the University of The Arts.
When traveling we always use Airbnb. We recently had a memorable time at a charming hutong in Beijing China and a high rise in the heart of Hong Kong.
We love great food and travel. We relax with a picnic in a park with a book, or in bed with a movie on a Sunday evening.
I can't live without my camera and must have it with me at all times when traveling.
Xin loves to read, paper cutting, origami, and painting.

This convenient train can whisk you to Center City Philadelphia social activities, parks, museums, and historic sites. Universities such as Drexel University, University Of Pennsylvania, and Temple U can be accessed within 30 minutes from the house. Trendy Fishtown and Northern Liberties are only 4 stations away.

Please remove shoes in entrance foyer.
Please lock front door when exiting and entering.
Don't allow cats outside. Do not feed cats table food.
No overnight guest please unless approved in advance and do not share our address.
Clean bathroom tub of hair after showering and remove toiletries.
Wipe toilet seat if needed.
Please wash dishes and and wipe table counter.
Smoking outside only.
Do not use extension cords or power strip for hair dryer or clothes iron.
Hair dryer can be used only in bathroom where we have GFCI outlet.
One power strip is allowed per room. Do not use extension cord with power strip. Do not daisy chain power strips.
Turn off lights behind you.
Turn off a/c before leaving room.
Cooking oily foods at high temperatures or that create smoke is prohibited.
We allow baking of foods in oven. Cooking at normal frying temps on range, or steaming of foods. DO NOT leave kitchen unattended while cooking. This will cause your kitchen privileges to be restricted from cooking.
Fire extinguisher is on kitchen counter. Do not attempt to extinguish grease fire with water.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
