Come enjoy the beautiful area of San Diego near Del Mar beach. Our large executive home is near UCSD University and some of the top notch schools in the area. It is a quiet area of San Diego located in one of the expensive areas of North San Diego. We are a close, highly educated family with two teenagers, girl and boy, a cat and rabbit. We are committed to education and are looking for someone that enjoys quiet and study time.
Our home is within walking distance of a beautiful park, hiking trails, eateries and Starbucks. We have one of the largest lots in the area and a view out to the canyon. We are within a mile to the beach but would need a car as the bike ride is challenging with the hills - we are at the top. We live in a cul-de-sac with canyon views. The upstairs bedroom is ensuite, with clean white tile shower and bathtub, very private. It has its own separate entrance and is separate from the main house on the 2nd floor. The room has windows with lots of light and is equipped with high speed internet. We are looking for a quiet student interested in studies that welcomes their privacy and independence. The room can be equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. It does not have laundry facilities. Laundry would need to be done at a community laundry facility. However, we would consider offering a meal each evening, transportation and laundry at an additional cost.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
