Great host! The room was nice (no noisy neighbours), fine shared bathroom. Multiple bus stops within 10 minute walk, as well as Clairemont town square for daily shopping, cinema and dining. We didn't talk much to Gretchen due to our busy schedule, but she is kind and friendly. And she makes a killer banana bread for breakfast ;-)

Wonderful stay! Gretchen is an easygoing hostess, makes us feel at home. A very nice house, cozy bedroom, full kitchen in a quiet, safe neighborhood, close to markets and bus stops. Definitely would stay again!!!

Really gretchen was very friendly and helpful. Her home is so comfortable, i really enjoyed during my visit to san diego. If i come again, i will stay there. I recommend her.

Had an awesome stay with Gretchen! She was awesome, very chill, and very accommodating. The place was quiet and relaxing. I got to use her kitchen. I literally felt like I was at home.

Staying at Gretchen's was great. Everything was neat, tidy and quiet. She was a great host and even waited for us late in the night to guide us on the directions. I totally recommend her.

Loved the experience. Gretchen was very hospitable, we got along so well. She allowed me to use her oven to bake my son some pies (he's in the Navy.) House was tidy and uncluttered and located close to everything I wanted to do in San Diego. Price was reasonable and I will stay there again my next trip to town.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
