We have a lovely picturesque room that is spacious with lots of natural sunlight. Guests can explore the wonderful Golden Gate Bridge or Fisherman's Wharf. We have a large comfortable queen bed. Our house has easy parking and easy bus/train access.

About the Area
We live in Silver Terrace. This area is very sunny and offers the best weather in San Francisco. We have the best of everything. We live in a very safe area. The police station is less than 1/2 block away. There is a discount supermarket around the corner. The best Chinese food is just a 10 minute walk from our house as well as other great restaurants - such as Vietnamese, Mexican, etc. The best seafood restaurant in the city in close and you can get there in a car in about 8 minutes or you can take public transportation or car service like Uber.
getting around
Getting around is very easy with or without a car. With a car we are close to highways 101 and 280 and you can access many places with these 2 . Without a car , you can use our great public transportation system. There are about 4 different stops on the MUNI ( this is SF public transportation system) within 10 minute walk of our house. For example if you want to go downtown you can get on a express bus and be down there in about 18 minutes once you are on the bus. Very easy. For MUNI we are near the "T" street car, 8 or 9 bus ( these have both local and express buses), the 54 bus, etc. OR you can use car service companies like Uber or Lyft.

Fisherman's Wharf, trip to Alcatraz, Downtown, Chinatown, and most other places of interest are all very easy to get to from our place.

No Smoking. No Pets please . Clean up after yourself in COMMON SPACE including the Kitchen. Please treat others with the respect you expect for yourself.
Please be respectful of my home and furnishings.
Quiet hours are from 10:30pm to 9am.
Compost and recycle as much as you can.
Payment in full must be made with the booking.
Homestay.com collects 25% of the price of the stay on my behalf at time of booking. The remaining 75% must be made with the booking. I will send you directions once you book how to do this.
Cancellation Policy -Full refund within limited period
For a full refund of accommodation fees, cancellation must be made five full days prior to listing’s local check in time ( 3:00 PM ) on the day of check in. For example, if check-in is on Friday, cancel by the previous Sunday before check in time.
If the guest cancels less than 5 days in advance, the first night is non-refundable but 50% of the accommodation fees for remaining nights will be refunded.
If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, 50% of the accommodation fees for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded.

Hal is a wonderful host. He warmly welcomed us to his home and gave us tips for our stay in San Francisco, in addition to the ones already collected in a small basket in the guest room. The room was clean and just perfect for our two nights‘ stay. Parking is no problem and to the bus station it is only a few minutes walk. A supermarket is just around the corner.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
