Hello. I am a retired white female whose roommate is a 12# sweet and quiet Shih Tzu mix. We offer a relaxed, casual, comfortable, clean, and quiet room and en-suite bath. We are located in Carrollwood which is a very nice centrally located area of Tampa.
About me... I have a fascination for all things natural and kind to the body and environment. I focus on intentional living, being mindful of others and self, socially responsible, and caring for Mother Earth. I am an artist and particularly enjoy impressionistic. I have a B. A. in gerontology and am a licensed real estate agent. Some of my favorite things are working out, dragon boating, cooking, socializing, antiquing, volunteering, art, reading, swing dancing, music, learning, and good conversation. My dog's favorite thing is food ... and did I mention food?
Our home is non-smoking. Bus line 39 is within a 5 minute walk. Vacationers please note an automobile is needed if you wish to visit all Greater Tampa Bay. We are easily accessible by automobile to I-275 North and South, Veterans Parkway, Sun Coast Parkway, and I-4, making it quite easy to get to Orlando, Clearwater, Ybor, Crystal River, and Pinellas County. Many business guests have done well with Uber. We are approxly six miles north of Raymond James Stadium and 11 miles north of Tampa Convention Center. The room has black out curtains, 100% cotton OR bamboo sheets for a restful night's sleep. Dusk to dawn outdoor pool; mini refrigerator, bike, coffee maker, cable tv, WIFI in room. No kitchen privileges other than use of microwave. Movie theatre, LA Fitness, mall, walking/biking trail, and restaurants within 2 miles. Outdoor pool is open dawn to dusk, home temperature is 77 during day and night. Please do not adjust the thermostat. This location would not be suitable for physically challenged persons, children, toddlers, infants, and those with dog allergies.
Please know I make every attempt to slightly adjust the check-in and check-out to accommodate my guests. That said, I am unable to adjust it past noon on the day of check-out.

About the Area
Our artsy, casual, comfortable, and quiet townhome is located in Carrollwood, a very nice area of Tampa. Free convenient parking directly in front of the unit. Bus line 39 is less than a five minute walk and if you have an automobile this location provides easy access to Orlando, Clearwater, Ybor, Pinellas County, 275 N and S, Sun Coast Pkwy, and I-4. It is suggested vacationers have an automobile to enjoy all Greater Tampa has to offer. We are located approxly 6 miles north of Raymond James Stadium and 11 miles north of Tampa Convention Center.

House Rules
This is a non-smoking home; guests can smoke outside but please do not bring butts in the house. No candles, drugs, or heavy drinking, and no outside guests. Microwave available. This is a peaceful environment and I ask that my guest be clean, quiet, courteous, respectful, and drama free.
Regarding payment, I do require payment in full seven days before arrival in US dollars. Paypal is the best option as there is no fee to transfer if both entities have a Paypal account. If this is a problem, we can do half seven days before arrival and the balance two days before arrival.

Enjoyed my stay very much. Sharon was a great host (ess) and had suggestions for tourists . Very comfortable room with my own bathroom. Nice neighborhood and quiet area. Close to grocery store and LA Fitness.

I loved my Homestay with Sharon! She is a wonderful host. I was in Tampa on vacation and could not have been more pleased with my stay. She was very accommodating and provided all sorts of information that helped me enjoy my time in the Tampa area. She provided pages of information on the sights to see, restaurants, beaches, and all sorts of things to do.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
