A big hello to all my guests, my name is Jack. I'm a professional English tour guide (because I have a license to do this job ^_^) and also an English teacher at home. My professions just reflect on what I'm truly passionate about - English and tourism.
I live in Hue city where used to be the capital of Vietnam for 143 years. And my love only lies on this peaceful city, not just because I was born and raised here but with a reason for which I don't know how to express. I just love Hue!! (I lived in Hanoi, Saigon, and Danang - the most modern and biggest cities in Vietnam)
But the tourism here in this city is nothing compared to its neighbor (Danang city) and also the ancient town Hoian. And that is just sad, it breaks my heart to see foreigners come and go within a day. Hue is much much more than just 1 day of visiting. Not only have we greatest amount of historical sites in the whole country, we also have breath-taking mountains, exceptional rivers, and beautiful beaches...and the "my-oh-my" cuisine in here too. All of that great things and we still have more. So 1 day might not be a good amount of time @@
And like many others who are trying day by day to put Hue on the position it deserves, I voluntarily choose to be a little helper. And I can help you with that if you let me, all you need to do is just ask. I would LOVE to be asked about my city ^_^

Our house is located on the North side of the city in a quiet and safe suburb. It's 5km from the touristy area, same distance from the train station and around 15 kms from the airport.

We had a great time at Jack’s homestay! It is in an excellent location and got to use his scooter for free which was great for getting around Hue. Throughout the stay he kept in touch via WhatsApp and answered any questions we had about the area and recommended lots of good places to go in the area. The food and coffee that was served for breakfast was delicious. We would definitely recommend!

Jack is a very good host. He is a exceptionally good help in planning your visit/ activities. Borrowing his scooter makes the stay even easier. I really enjoyed my stay here :)
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
