The village is located on top of one the many mountains near Viêt Lâm, small city 30 minutes away from Ha Giang.
About 20 houses are resting delicately between rice fields, banana trees and the mountain's wild forest. A path drawn by the comes and go's of motorbikes lead you around this peaceful ethnic minority village. Our project of building a homestay is going through its beginnings and we would be glad to share some of these activities with you if you are motivated.
- Starting an organic garden in the village for every family to enjoy
- Building a small temple for meditation purposes
- Building an outdoor green tea bath
- Working in the rice fields to discover the process of growing different types of rice
- Enjoying the waterfall nearby
- Trekking (tea tour)
- Meeting local children and teaching them english
- Experiencing the famous love market in Meo Vac (only in April)
- Discover Tay ethnic minority clothing
- Help us making goat cheese (what a challenge !)
Our project relies not only on allowing travellers to experience the real hill tribe way of life but also to raise awareness about the poor possibilities these people have to make income. For that reason, our project also aims to redistribute the income we get from your stay with us to the local families. This is how we thought it through; The average price of a homestay in Vietnam is 11$ a day (240 000 VND). As you will be staying in one of the members of the family's house, we think it fair to provide them between 3 to 4$ per night (70 000 to 100 000 VND). We will be insuring 3 meals a day.

Ngū and his family are wonderful hosts. This rural homestay was in the hills outside of the main village, but a short walk to the village. Opportunity for walks in the woods. Fantastic food. Ngū is also an experienced motorbike guide. He does trips to the northern region along the windy mountain road. Our family of 4 loved staying here. It is suitable for single guests as well.

How do I book?
