Georgios was a really awesome host! we have only a brief visit but it worth it! Sepolia is a nice neighbourhood too, not far from city centre. My friend and I were delighted about the day trip to the places we didn't see before. Georgios is a good person, and very helpful about directions, he cares a lot abnout guests, even he came to pick us up. His place was cool, very artistic and you feel that it is like home. Also, he knows a lot about history, which is really good if you go sightseeing, to know the history of a place is always unvaluable! Nice company and funny also! he is a good photographer too!
Hope to come back to Athens one day! Efharistó Giorgios! :)

Spent 3 nights at Georgios' ..The apartment is at a peaceful modest region where access to metro and buses is easy. He was very helpful giving all the info and directions to get to his place... felt very comfortable in the room..His good heart made me feel at home and his guidance around the city and good company walking around made my Athens experience much delightful.. Feeling very lucky to have the chance to know Georgious and his lovely neighbours .Most of all he is a very good friend ..will always have a special place in my heart

Ich war begeistert - die Unterkunft ist wirklich kein Hotel, sondern eine ziemlich vollgestellte Wohnung, es war aber sauber und als Schlafplatz zu dem supergünstigen Preis mehr als geeignet. Was aber vor allem für diesen Homestay spricht, ist der Gastgeber: Georgios ist ein supernetter Typ, hat mich von der Metro abgeholt und im Morgengrauen zum Flughafenbus gebracht und mir die Stadt gezeigt (leider war ich nur eine Nacht da und hatte nur ein paar Stunden, deshalb war das kurze Sightseeing umso effektiver). Das war mein erster Homestay-Aufenthalt überhaupt, und es hätte nicht besser sein können. Ich habe mich sofort gefühlt, als wäre ich zu Besuch bei einem guten Freund. Würde gerne noch mal dorthin reisen, für mehrere Tage. ********** :-)

Explaining the ambiance; the atmosphere and mood of his place was great for a musician and artist - , Georgios is an artist so it reflects in the apartment decor. I took note that he is very neat and ensures that the guest is WELL taken care of. Spending several days with him you realize he has a wonderful heart, VERY smart and knows his history and political background of Greece. He takes care of guests better than any of the other homestay places - So for RATING A PERFECT HOST 10 stars!!! No question - It's definitely for the budget traveler - which I was. He is more than a gracious host - you really understand the way of thinking in this city of the locals, when you spend time with Georgios. I appreciate everything. I lowered my facilities to a 3, only because I am a bathroom snob - and I have to have lots of good towels, etc. : )

Thank you again!! Homestay booking is just what a budget conscious traveler is. I was able to eat a FABULOUS dinner with Georgios at one of the best restaurants in the city, because I did not spend money on a ridiculous 5-star hotel that I would be in only to sleep!

I cannot say enough good things about Georgios as a host! This gentleman made my vacation. It was by far the most relaxed, fun and in general great vacation.
Georgios goes above and beyond when it comes to hosting. I really felt like I was only couch-surfing with my oldest friend instead of staying with a stranger in a strange place. He is a great tour guide and is more than willing to share the fun in his life with his guests.
Georgios does not have the fanciest place in the world, but I would have paid at least triple what he charges and still saved a huge sum on accomodations.
If you have never done a home-stay, I recommend G's place for your first! You will come away with an incredibly unique experience and vacation!
