Best Sydney suburb – Beautiful Private Room with own bathroom
Great space to live and work/ study and have a great time in Sydney.
We are close to the best places in Sydney. The suburb is lively and safe.
From BALMAIN it’s only 15 min ferry or bus trip to Sydney's CBD, Circular Quay and Opera House.
5 min walk to bus or ferry and from there 10 min to CBD and Opera and 25 min to UTS.
3 min walk to a beautiful, huge waterfront park with Sydney Harbour Bridge and city views – great for exercising, jogging and relaxing!
5 min walk to lively and vibrant Darling Street with shopping centre and heaps of cafes, pubs and restaurants.
• Very private room for 1 person in a quality renovated Balmain home. Your room is private and separate to our family home.
• Own ensuite bathroom with shower, access directly in your room
• Easy to work from home
• Free, reliable internet/WIFI and Netflix
• You can relax on the veranda in our very quiet street
• AIR-CONDITIONING in summer, central heating in winter
• Smart TV, fridge, microwave and hot water maker in your room. Cooking plate and pots are possible (no frying please as there is no range hood.)
• Large single bed, desk, chair, wardrobe (not visible in the photos), plenty of shelves
• Clean and safe
• Free, easy-to-find street parking
• You can use our washing machine and dryer at agreed times
• Very friendly family, speaks perfect English and German at home
• Looking for a friendly, clean and quiet student or young professional.
• Bond (will be refunded when moving out once the room being left neat and tidy): $200
• Minimum stay is 2 weeks. If you wish to cancel earlier as agreed, the notice period is 1
2 weeks.
The rent is payable weekly on the first day of the week.
We are a nice Australian-German family with one child. We are friendly and helpful.

Christine and Vladan are absolutely lovely and easy-going people! I had a great stay there and I am sure you'll find all the comfort you need in this studio. Buses going to the city or central station nearby and the ferry is also very close. The only drawback is that you have to wash your dishes in the bathroom sink as you don't have a real kitchen. But trust me, you get used to it quite fast.

My homestay could not have been better! The room was very clean, beautiful and equipped with a well working heating system, which is very rare in Australian houses. You will very much appreciate that, especially in winter. Christine is a very friendly and lovely person, who explains everything very well, gives good advice for Sydney and has a really lovely family. I felt the entire time very welcomed. To sum up, it was a really great experience. I would definitely stay at her house again and I truly recommend everyone staying at her house!

My stay with Christine and Vladan was a great experience. They were always there for me and happy to help when I needed and the room was very comfy and cosy. I highly recommend this homestay!

I had a wonderful stay! Christine and her family were so kind and helpful. I really felt at home. The room itself was great, too. All really new and an own bathroom which is really nice. The house is close to the city, either by bus or ferry which was awesome too! Would definitely come back :)

Christine and her familly are really nice and friendly.
The room is great with a individual bathroom. The place is close to buses, ferrys and so on.
I really had a good time there and felt sad when I had to leave.
I highly recommended this place if you want to stay in sydney for few months and if you prefer to live outside the CBD but close to it.
