House Description
We are a family of four, my husband, Reddy, my two children Randy and Rachel (8 and 10 years old) and I living in Centro Habana in a Fresh, clean and quiet house located on the first floor (30 steps) with three comfortable rooms because of their amplitude for rent. Two of them have tween beds and bathroom en-suite, the third room has one doble bed and one single bed. The three rooms have big windows that leaves the fresh breeze get into them.
As We live in a céntrica area of the city, there might be some noise at night, as people enjoy hanging out late at night, so if you are a sensitiv person to noise, for a better sleep, bring your head phones.
There is cold and hot running water in the bathrooms twenty-four hours a day with a relaxing shower.
English, French and Italian are spoken in the house.
If you need a taxi at your arrival at the International Airport “Jose Marti”, don’t hesitate on asking for it as it will be at your disposition.
Breakfast (included in the price) is served between 8 and 10
For those interested in visiting other provinces, contacts in other houses can be made.
In the house, there is a map of Havana, big enough to identify the places where you would like to go.
Neighborhood.
The neighborhood is safe, surprising for its variety of architectural styles, baroque, neo-gothic, neo-classical, eclectic, art nouveau, and art deco, modernist and post-modernist. Streets that are both, ancient and modern, extraordinary and authentic, just waiting to be rediscovered. You don’t need to take a taxi to go to the most frequent visited places by Cuban and foreign people.
Near places of interest.
• The Malecon, a quintessential landmark of this sea-loving city, along coastal esplanade where music, friendship, love, happiness and sadness all have their part.
• The Historic Centre of Old Havana. A world Heritage site, which is amongst the oldest and best preserved urban spaces in South America and an atmospheric historical masterpiece.
• The Christ of Havana, a powerful sculpture which presides over the entrance of Havana Bay
• The museum of Fine Arts (Cuban and International Art).
• Museum of the Revolution: Constructed between 1913 and 1920, it is housed in the former Presidential Palace.
• Museum of Rum.
• The Capitol Building
• Prado Street: It is the first street outside the old city walls. The original idea was to create a boulevard as splendid as any found in Paris or Barcelona with famous bronze lions that guard the central promenade.
• The Cigar Factory Partagas: one of Habana’s oldest and most famous cigar factories, founded in 1845.
• Morro-Cabana Park, a place to witness a curious night-time tradition, the 9 O’ clock Cannon Shot Ceremony
• 2 blocks from our house there is the Central Park where you can take the bus for a city tour and go to the Revolution square for only $ 5.00 cuc with a tour guide or just take the other bus to go to Playas del Este, a succession of excellent beaches.
• Banks, shops, cafeterias, bars and excellent restaurants are everywhere.
• Inglaterra Hotel: Havana’s oldest hotel, first opened its doors in 1856.

Nos quedamos con Fanny y su familia por 4 noches y es una de las mejores experiencias que hemos tenido viajando. Hemos viajado a 23 países y siempre queremos tener algún tipo de contacto con los locales y esta ha sido la mejor experiencia. Fanny y su familia se esmeran en darte toda la información posible con muchos detalles y hasta un mapita que puedes usar para guiarte. De verdad que son personas excepcionales, muy carismáticas y muy muy queridas. La mama de Fanny también fue muy muy amigable y preparo el desayuno todas las mañanas, el cual fue muy nutritivo y suficiente para empezar el día. En el desayuno se sientan contigo y charlan de lo que sea, básicamente se convierten en amigos desde el primer día. También cabe notar que muchas veces durante el desayuno se puede conocer otros viajeros con quien puedes compartir experiencias y lugares. El cuarto tenía una cama muy grande y suficiente espacio para dos personas, el baño también muy grande y limpio. También hay que darle crédito a la hermosa vista que tienes desde el cuarto. El apartamento esta situado en un muy buen lugar, entre habana vieja y central, a una cuadra de una avenida principal donde puedes conseguir un taxi muy rápidamente si es necesario. A pesar de llegar a casa a altas horas de la noche, nunca nos sentimos que estábamos en una area insegura pero de todas maneras siempre hay que tener cuidado. NOTA PARA OTROS VIAJEROS: Por favor, incluye en tu mochila de viaje alguna clase de ayuda, ya sea utiles escolares, medicina, o cualquier cosa que te parezca básica pero que en Cuba tal vez no sea tan fácil conseguir. Dicho todo esto, no lo pienses dos veces, este es el mejor lugar para tu estadía. Un abrazo muy fuerte a Fanny y familia.

Our last stay of our journey was wonderful! Really great two days! Fanny and her family are really nice and help you with everything you need! The room was really pretty, with a small balcony. Really clean and comfortable. The breakfast is really great too, fresh and healthy! Also a good place for your very first stay in Cuba because you get good tips and information you'll need.

Desde el primer momento, nos sentimos como en nuestra propia casa. Fue nuestro primer contacto con el país y nos dio muchísimos consejos y nos ayudó en todo lo que pudo y más. La habitación era muy amplia y estaba limpísima además de tener una estupenda ubicación. El desayuno es muy completo y tomarlo en la terraza le da un encanto especial. Tanto Fanny, como su marido y sus padres son encantadores. Sin duda, si volviéramos a La Habana, repetiríamos y recomendaremos este alojamiento a cualquier conocido que allí viaje. Un abrazo desde España!!

Fanny and her family were very welcoming.
She explained us the dos and don'ts in Habana when we arrived.
The house and room is clean and comfortable.
Fanny and her family helped us immediately when we needed something and were always absolutely friendly.
The breakfast was also very good.The location was perfect for us. It's in habana centro, so it's a nice authentic area very close to old Habana.

Fanny is an excellent host! She was proactive about providing information to orientate us and answer questions. We really enjoyed our conversations with her and her family, and our eight-year-old daughter enjoyed playing with her children. Her breakfasts were excellent and she very kindly hosted a New Year’s Eve dinner for the three sets of guests. The room and house were beautiful, clean, and a pleasure to be in. The location is excellent – walking distance from everything in central and old Havana. Highly recommended!

Where do I begin...we felt like part of the family. Fanny went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Her breakfast was the best during our entire time in Cuba (we were in Cuba for 18 days). The communication with her was also very uncomplicated and she also speaks perfect English. The room was comfortable and very clean - everything you need was there. She gave us many helpful tips on what to look out for when moving around Havana. It was a pleasure to talk to her every morning about the people and life in Cuba and she told us a lot about how the people are doing there. @Fanny: Thank you very much for your warm welcome.
I can highly recommend Casa Randy.
