Ileana and her husband Julio are very nice and friendly. They can give you all the information you need. The house is beautiful and very clean, the breakfast is wonderful. It is a little bit outside the city - but it's worth it! We enjoyed it very much!

Ileana does not speak much English but luckily his husband Jolio is a fluent English speaking guy. You surely will get exciting upon your arrival on Jolio & Lleana's loved home. It is a two storey building with a very beautiful garden built in 50's. The rooms are always clean and tidy and new towels are provided every day in the morning. They also provide soap, body gel and shampoo in the wash room while not many Cuba home stay do. J & L are not only a host but a couple with great enthusiasm to introduce Cuba culture and travel attraction to the guest. You can easily find a good restaurant or a tour guide from the couples and definitely will not be disappointed. The only shortcoming is that it takes about 30-40 minutes by drive to the town center in Havana. It really does not matter if you are going to visit Havana by hiring a car and that's what we did.

What can we say, Ileana and Julio made us feel like family, nothing was too much trouble, and they gave us plenty of advice and suggestions on where to visit and eat etc.Although slightly out of the city in Mirimar, quite rsidential, fringes of the city were in walking distance, once there plenty of taxis on offer.Our visit to Havana would not have been as good had we not stayed at this casa and met such wonderful people, top marks from us,
