Wake up looking at amazing seaviews over Killiney bay, where space and peace prevail, breathe pure air and connect with nature! We welcome you in our unique family home in Dalkey/Killiney, but you have your own space in a separate part of the house - the best of both worlds!
Safe, quiet, residential coastal area - 15 min walk to and from the Dalkey DART station, with only 30min train commute to Dublin City Centre. You can also use our bicycles (provided you have personal insurance).
We offer bright and spacious bedrooms all with a sea view.
While the bedrooms are serviced (with us providing bed linen, towels and maintenance), your privacy is always respected and you are totally independent as situated in a separate level in our big family home.
Before your arrival, the rooms are cleaned to very high standard and sanitized. Bed sheets and duvet covers are made of cotton or linen, washed with non bio detergent and ironed with care.
You have full access to Laundry facilities during your stay too:)
But the icing on the cake is to enjoy the amazing views in the Lounge at the very top of the house! There is a fridge there for your favourite drinks and the kettle is on the counter too.
We are a nice welcoming family, who will not intrude on your privacy, but are available if you need us! Our cat is limited to the ground floor.
Please tell us about yourself, what brings you here and if you have any special needs when you contact us first so we can see if the location is suitable etc. We are always happy to help and answer any questions you may have.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en compagnie d'Elisabeth et Ross. Le logement est parfait, idéalement situé en bord de mer et à quelques pas de Dublin en transport en commun. Leur accompagnement fut un atout indéniable dans notre découverte de l'ile et la chaleur de leur accueil nous a mis tout de suite à l'aise. Nous aurons plaisir à les retrouver pour un prochain séjour. Vanessa et Laurent

Elisabeth and Ross are warm, welcoming and generous. They give you all the information you need. The house is great with spectacular views. Dalkey is a nice town. It was nice to walk along the seaside and in the parks. We had a great time in this house. Thanks a lot.

Ross and Elizabeth are such a lovely couple and they are always kind, considerate and willing to help me out.
The location is quite nice too and you would never get bored at this amazing ocean front view during your stay.
If this is your first time to come to Ireland, I would definitely recommend this lovely house!

Elisabeth and Ross were great hosts, they made me feel very welcome and at home for the week. The space provided by them is also fantastic, and so is the location. My only regret is that I was too busy at work to spend more time chatting to them!

Wonderful house, wonderful hosts.
When we got into the house, we were amazed by its beauty and stunning views (the sea is part of the house). But then we met Ross and Elizabeth: they are the best hosts ever (and we've met lots of families in previous trips to Ireland). They are so nice, friendly, welcoming, talkative and helpful. They make you feel at home all the time. And breakfast and dinner are simply delicious! If you want to learn English, about literature, politics or the country, nothing better than a cup of coffee and a glass of beer in Elizabeth and Ross's garden. Opportunities such as these come but once in a lifetime. Don't miss it, don't miss them! We will keep fond memories of them all our life.

I stayed at the Couch House with my two daughters for two weeks and we really felt like at home! A beautiful house, an extraordinary family, an incredible place! ... Elisabeth always willing to help and make you feel confortable. We will definatly come back! Thanks Elisabeth and Ross

The location was wonderful with a breathtaking view on the sea. The house has all the comforts and more. Elisabeth and the family were very kind and available for every request far beyond every expectation. I warmly recommend it to everyone.
