舒适的房间靠近威尼斯/机场

People are what make the place and Betti does just that!
Emails and whatsapps before getting there to be sure I caught the ATVO bus from the Venezia Mestre train station. I was late but Betti waited at the bus stop close to her B&B, where she picked me up in her car, greeting me with a lovely smile.
Betti first kindly drove me round a few environs, showing me an area where boats moored near a basin whose design had been improved by Leonardo da Vinci.
Quarto D'Altino is a quiet, peaceful town and the B&B is a stone's throw from the bus stops for buses that go to the train station, the airport, Venice and more.
I had a lovely, clean, single bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with a fine soft light mirror, a tv and wifi.
Fine breakfasts with both sweet and savoury food but best of all was Betti's company, being very friendly, fun and very informative about her town, the many glorious cities nearby, the various means of transport available, and adds a few interesting historical accounts.
On the ground floor directly below the B&B is a fine Bistrot with friendly staff and excellent food with reasonable prices for their abundant helpings.

I can really recommend this accommodation, the only thing difficult is to stay a little far from venice, because the buses could take us out of Venice only until 9 pm. Unfortunately the bus timetable changed to summer when we left (around 16.th of June). Than the buses are also leaving venice much later. Betti gave us a big support with the timetables of buses and cares for a lot for her guests.

Betti was awesome! Her accommodation was excellent, clean and brand new - I had my own private bathroom and single bedroom - perfect for me! She had great kitchen facilities, where I could cook which made it really easy! Nothing was too much for her, on the first day, we went out shopping for food, she told me the bus times Etc, booked me on a Laguna cruise for Venice and picked me up from the train and airport. This accommodation is close to the bus for the airport and for Venice. I felt welcome and loved with Betti, I would thoroughly recommend her to you and all my friends traveling to Venice!

It was a memorable stay at Betti's. I wish I had some more days to extend my stay in Portigrandi. But, as all the good things must end, this five-day stay too came to a happy ending. In fact, I had planned to visit the places like Lugano...but the comfort of Laguna far outweighed all others, keeping me glued to the lagoon of Portigrandi. Thank you Betti, for providing a wonderful home away from my home (India). Most certainly, I might plan another vacation, this time with family, here only !
