If Japanese is not your spoken language, then speaking English is no problem with either Hideko or her daughter Reona. Hideko has a lovely house and a warm family. She likes to sing all kinds of music, and is a very fun person to talk to. Her house is has a spacious shower and tub, and is near Shin-Fuji station and Fuji Station of the JR Tokaidou Lines. So wether you are catching a local train or shinkansen (bullet train), commuting to her house from either station does not take very long by car. If seeing Mt. Fuji is an interest to you, when the weather is clear it is visible in from the neighborhood —there is even a visitor’s center dedicated to introduce and showcase Mt. Fuji to visitors and local alike.

Hideko truly made the experience for me; one for me to remember for the rest of my life. For me they went above and beyond my expectations. She drove me places I wanted to visit,and recommended some really cool location. Hideko has a really nice family, and she does whatever she can to help you enjoy your stay. She made me feel like apart of the family. Hideko has a warm heart and it was also the people she surrounded herself with that also made a great homestay. It was always bursting with energy. Also the accommodation were very nice. Comfy bed, great food, just the total package.
