Tout d'abord je souhaite remercier Tomoko-san pour son accueil ainsi que de sa générosité.
6 nuits n'était clairement pas assez, la semaine est passée en un éclair.
Je n'oublierai pas ses soirées de discussion entre hôte et invités, les conseils et les avis partagés ont été d'une grande aide.
La cuisine de Tomoko-san est délicieuse et très variée. Chaque repas était copieux et nous n'avions jamais rendu une assiette avec des restes.
La compagnie de ses chats est adorable ils ont tous leurs propres caractères et sont très affectueux.

J'ai passé une semaine incroyable avec Tomoko-san,ses chats ainsi que les autres invités.
Je n'aurai jamais imaginé que ce type de logement puisse m'apporter un si grand bonheur.

Durant mon séjour j'ai eu l'occasion de beaucoup parler en Japonais et Anglais avec Tomoko et d'en apprendre plus sur la culture Japonaise.

Je souhaite continuer d'échanger avec Tomoko-san et j'espère très vite revenir lui rendre visite lors de mon prochain voyage au Japon.

Tomoko is a very friendly and helpful host. Before I arrived and also during my stay, she gave me tips for excursions and sights.
She prepared a different and varied breakfast and dinner every day.
During breakfast and dinner you could talk to Tomoko and the other guests about the excursions and impressions.
You also have to love her four cats.
Tomoko makes you feel like part of the family and not just a guest.
Tomoko is highly recommended as a host and I hope to have another chance to be a part of this family again on my next trip to Tokyo and the surrounding area :)

I would give more stars If the system would allow. Tomoko, thank you for everything and the 10 days we spent at your place. You are an adorable person, so kind, helpful with wonderful cooking skills your house is beautiful, always clean!! We liked our room, it was big so there was enough space for us. In the morning we had so nice breakfast and a little bit of chatting about different themes. In the evening we always had the feeling of coming home from a long day, where Tomoko surprised us with the different meals of Japanese cuisine. Arigatou gozaimasu. your cats are so cute and lovely. We are in a hotel atm in Osaka and we actually miss staying with you in your house we will definitely come back in 2025, if not sooner to see you. Tomoko is a kind and attentive host. She made us feel like we were home, and made us delicious meals :). She is considerate of any food restrictions or dislikes. Tomoko is also wonderful to chat with and has great recommendations for local things to do. She was also kind enough to let us try on yukata, which is something I may not have been able to do otherwise. I also enjoyed her cats, so cute! I would recommend a stay here, and hopefully we get a chance to come back in a future trip.

I stayed at Tomokos home for 10 nights and I really enjoyed it. It was my first homestay ever and a great experience. The rooms are very clean and Tomoko helps where she can. She gives tips for adventures, sends luggage for you and cooks so well. Every days meal (breakfast and evening meal) was different and delicious. She will look up things together with you and I really enjoyed the long talks with Tomoko and the other guests. The Coin Laundry and the Onsen is in front of the house, the station (Tachikawa) 20 minutes away by walking. There is great access to konbinis and restaurants, even a playground is near the house. Tomoko really is an angel! She made my first stay in Tokyo unforgettable. And her cats are lovely too ;) Loved the time I spent there and hope we will meet again <3

What can I say? When I departed on the bus and waved goodbye I was not leaving a host, I was leaving a new dear friend who will always be remembered in my heart.

What a wonderful human being. Tomoko is kind, considerate, helpful, informative, genuine, interesting.............the list is endless. If you stay with Tomoko you strike Japanese gold!

Every meal is a banquet, served up with grace and good conversation. I ran out of superlatives before the end of the first week. Talk about a 'taste of Japan'!

The house is an excellent jumping-off point for visiting both the urban and rural elements of Japan thanks to being so close to a major railway station. The neighbourhood feels safe to walk around any time day or night.

You do need to remember that you are staying in a family home and not at a hotel. The bedrooms are simply fitted out and the single bathroom and toilet are shared by the guests but everything is clean and in good order. Just follow the simple house rules and all will be good.

And don't forget the four beautiful house cats, one of which has learnt how to open the bedroom doors on their own in the middle of the night - you have been warned!

In conclusion, a 5 star home with a 10 star host.
