This is a quiet and sunny double room available in a 3 bedroom house in Beckenham. House is double glazed. Off-street parking.
French and stacker doors open out onto a big deck which has an outdoor lounge suite to sit in the sun and enjoy the garden.
10 min walk to 2 supermarkets. Craft beer bar, cafes and restaurants a 5 min stroll. Easy 15 min bike ride (or 35 min walk) into the CBD along a cycle lane, or 10 min walk to the bus stop into town.
Close to the Port Hills which are full of beautiful walking and mountain bike tracks that provide great views of Christchurch city and Lyttelton Harbour.
The house is fully furnished (no dishwasher yet unfortunately!).
I have 2 cats, Nero and Clovis.

Beckenham is a popular suburb due to it's proximity to both the city centre and the Port Hills (a haven for hiking and mountain bike tracks), and has a shopping precinct with good restaurants/cafes/bars and supermarket. 15 min walk to The Colombo shopping mall or 30 min walk to the city centre. Bus route and lime scooters nearby. Also close to a library.
The house is back from the street so it's quiet, and has an off-street carpark available.

Very good first experience with Homestay. Tracey is a lovely, very helpful host, she gave us lots of ideas where to go and what to see in Chch.

We had two wonderful weeks at Tracey’s Appartement. Everything was tidy and clean and we felt very welcomed. Tracey was a very friendly host and gave us a lot of local tips to explore Christchurch. We can definitely recommend staying there!

A lovely and well-located place to stay. Tracey is a friendly and accommodating host, and very easy to chat to. The double room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space. I loved spending time on the deck when weather permitted, and hanging out with Tracey's two cats! I had a lovely stay here and would definitely recommend.

Tracey was a perfect host. The house is modern and clean, two adorable cats were around us and we had nice chats with Tracey - all together a wonderful time.

Tracey is so kind and helpful and her house is very stylish and clean.
In addition, she has two cats.
They are so cute and lovely, I miss them.

I loved my stay with Tracey she was so helpful with everything. She made me feel comfortable and got me "integrated" in New Zealand in no time.
I really miss my second home as I felt it became in such a short time.
