Jill was a wonderful host. Our stay with her was very comfortable. She was very helpful in suggesting where to explore and giving directions! We thoroughly enjoyed our chats and can highly recommend a stay with her.

We enjoyed our stay at Jill's comfortable, spotless home. She is a lovely host, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and it's history. Halswell is a quiet and pleasant area on the outskirts of Christchurch and ideal if you want to travel around and see the city and its surroundings. Christchurch, Sumner and Lyttelton all within easy reach by car.

Jill house is immaculate and very clean. Every things are clean and tidy. Superb healthy breakfast provided and soft comfortable beds. Jill provides excellent travel tips and information. I would surely return to stay here whenever i am in Christchurch.

Jill was very welcoming and extremely informative. A very friendly lady, came away after one night feeling that we had known her for much longer. Would be pleased to welcome her to our home. Wished we could have stayed longer. A real home from home.

Jill is a pleasure and a useful treasure with whom to spend time and from whom to gain kiwi, travel and general knowledge. Her home is inviting and clean and garden is beautiful. Breakfast will be waiting for you (with the morning paper!) and the comfy bed and clean bathroom round out the perfect stay. Thanks, Jill, for your sense of humour, restaurant and travel recommendations and interesting conversation.

You really made me feel welcome, This was home away from home.
Rooms where very neat and clean lovely garden to relax in when you had a long day visiting Christchurch. I travel a lot and must say this stay was one of the best places I stayed at. Thanks for such a great time and your lovely hospitality. 10/10
