I greeted you, I smiled, I showed you around, I pointed out things that could be helpful to you about the house, I offered to move armchairs for you so you could sit next to the fire when you were standing next to it, I offered to give tips on restaurants and profferred info about taxis to the concert. We made you breakfast the next morning, which by the way is not part of a Homestay service and I definitely felt that there was no significant awkwardness throughout the time we spent at the breakfast table. I checked in with both of you regarding the warmth and comfort levels of your beds and bedrooms and you volunteered your opinion of the shower; all being positive. When you arrived you informed us that you intended to spend your Saturday out at Larnach's castle and the shops followed by the concert, and that you would go out for dinner on Friday evening. That means you intended to spend little time in our house before you arrived. Therefore, I ask you to consider whether it is fair that you made your comment about the amount of time you spent, attributing this to some disquiet about your treatment? Also, I think that given you were happy to sit at the table with us on Saturday morning, and the discussion was cordial, your overall assessment needs to reflect this; otherwise is it an accurate and fair reflection of your experience? Also, as a use of Homestay, I, and I am sure all other users, want to be able to rely on other's reviews. A one-heart review is a statement that the host conduct is bad or the facilities are very unacceptable or both. Neither applied in our case, according to your assessments and behaviour; so your review does us and all Homestayers a disservice.
