Asuncion is an amazing host. I traveled to Spain to attend college for one semester and stayed at her home for five months. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen has everything we needed for cooking. Her house is located close to the metro station and there is plenty of public transportation so it is easy to reach Downtown Madrid. I enjoyed staying at her house, she gave me proper orientation as to how to secure a cheap metro card and was kind enough to pick me up at the airport and also drove me to the airport when I left. Thanks so much!

Asun is a wonderful host, she is very welcoming and helpful. She made me feel comfortable when I was moving in for the summer, and helped me acclimate to a new country. She helped me get a transit card, showed me around Alcorcon, and showed me how to make a couple Spanish dishes! I still had a lot of free time to explore Madrid on my own, and this homestay was the perfect way to go.

Thank you for about 3 months! Very kind and very kind, I think it was really good to choose here. I couldn't speak English or Spanish, but it was very helpful to have them speak Japanese. I was able to spend a meaningful time with various things such as how to ride the train, nearby supermarkets, sightseeing spots, etc. If you are wondering about homestay in Asun, I highly recommend it!

Studying abroad in Madrid, Spain after almost 2 years of COVID-restriction was absolutely one of my most unforgettable and cherishable memories during my college days. Staying with Asun in her house for one semester was the foundation of it. I was given a lot of trust and treated like a family during my stay there. The house is located inside of a guarded gate with a swimming pool that opens during the summer. I like to hang out at the backyard when it's sunny outside. Once in a while, we will throw a backyard barbeque party with Asun and other international students living in her house.
Speaking of the neighborhood, although it might not be located in the center of Madrid, it offers another particularly beautiful side of this city. The vibe is very chill and there are many beautiful parks with fountains within walking distance. You will often find yourself enjoy the gorgeous dusk of Alcorcon with many local Spanish families living around here. It is a suburb, but it is, by no means, far from the fun. The charming street of Las Retamas full of delicious restaurants and tapa bars is especially alive during the night. Even close to midnight, you will still find people chatting, having a beer sitting outside of the shop enjoying the night life with their friends and families. This neighborhood is also close to bus stops which connects you to the efficient yet affordable Madrid Metro system where you can reach the heart of Madrid easily.
Now that I'm back to my normal life, I still dream about my time in Madrid and I really wish to revisit Asun and taste again the authentic Madrileño food she cooks when I get a chance.

I had a great stay thanks to Asunción who was always ready to help. It's a beautiful house in a quiet neibourhood, the rooms are confortable. In terms of transports, their are buses and metro stops very near but also free parking spaces on front of the house.
