**5/5 Stars – An Unforgettable Stay with Mari!**

I cannot express enough how much I enjoyed my stay at Mari’s beautiful apartment. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and cared for, and I’ve already booked my stay for next year because it truly felt like a home away from home.

My visit to Barcelona was for **Integrated Systems Europe 2025**, one of the world’s largest trade exhibitions, and Mari’s place couldn’t have been more perfect. The **Congres underground metro station** is literally steps away from the apartment block, making it incredibly convenient to travel around the city. Whether I was heading to the exhibition or exploring Barcelona’s vibrant streets, everything was easily accessible.

But what made my stay truly special was Mari herself. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine care made me feel like part of her family. As an animal lover, I was delighted by her adorable, playful, and talkative cats—they added so much joy to my stay! It’s clear how much love Mari has for animals, and it made the experience even more heartwarming.

Mari, thank you for being such a wonderful host. You’ve set the bar incredibly high, and I’m so grateful for the memories I’ve made here. I’m already counting down the days until I return next year. If you’re visiting Barcelona, look no further—this is the perfect place to stay.

Ich blieb drei Nächte bei Mari und ihren Katzen. Ich hätte es nicht besser haben können. Wir hatten uns auch gleich sehr gut verstanden und auch gute Gespräche geführt. Mari hat immer versucht meine Fragen bezüglich Barcelona zu beantworten. Wenn sie etwas nicht wusste, hat sie eine Freundin gefragt,
Mari war sehr hilfsbereit, rücksichtsvoll und diskret. Sie hat mir ein Frühstück zur Verfügung gestellt, das ich mir in der Früh selber machte. Sie hat mir auch einmal was Leckeres gekocht. Mari ist Vegetarierin und legt wert auf gesunde Lebensmittel. In diesem Punkt haben wir auch gut harmoniert.
Die Lage ist ruhig aber zentral. Bus, Metro, Geschäfte, - alles in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Ich hatte ein sehr bequemes Bett in dem ich gut schlief. Die große Dachterrasse ist einfach toll!
Mari ist Tierschützerin und hat vier ganz liebe Katzen. Besonders Marcello ist ein ganz Lieber!
Wenn ich wieder mal nach Barcelona komme, würde ich gern wieder bei Mari wohnen. Sie ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und ich kann sie nur weiterempfehlen!

Staying with Mari was a wonderful time. She is such an excellent host, and a very kind soul. Her place was very clean, and located just down the street from the train, which can take you all around Barcelona, and only a couple of stops from the Sagrada Familia! I especially loved meeting her rescue cats, who were just as sweet and welcoming as she is. Don't continue your search for a place to stay - with Mari is where you want to be.
