Eranda and his family are the textbook example of good hosts. They are very caring and passionate about their homestay. His mother was almost a mother to me. And the breakfast she makes is delicious! Eranda is very well connected and will know is happening in Colombo.

I loved drinking the occasional pint with Eranda, relaxing at the Good Market and watching Sri Lankan soaps with this mother and father (of course with the necessary translations into English). Tricking me into joining a small Baila Baila dance competition was a nice touch as well. At least now I know how to sorta dance the Sri Lankan way :D.

The rooms are very clean and very comfortable. You can get a quick bite down the street, but restaurants are a bit further away (10min walk).

He doesn't want people to give him 100% review because 'there is always room for improvements'. Well, I am giving 5 hearts nonetheless.

Had such a terrific time with Eranda and his family. Eranda is like the hospitality King in my books. He is such a wonderful and honest person. His home really does allow you to experience authentic Sri Lankan culture. I had such a fun time with them. The room is very nice and clean with ensuite. The place is safe and secure. It is in a Central location for getting around Colombo. Oh and the food. His mother cooks the most absolutely amazing food. I loved every bit of my breakfasts and all the other treats that they gave me. Lifetime memories for me for sure. And if your lucky, Summer the Elephant might come by and you get to feed her some bananas. Thank you so much. Oh and also, there is a great little takeout place just around the corner with really cheap Sri Lankan food - authentic and the best ever.
