A true homestay! My husband and I wanted very much to do an authentic homestay and live with a family in India and this is exactly what we got! Jerayaman and his wife are really nice and helpful. We had really nice chats with them and found out more about local culture. Our room was clean and cosy, with a helpful mosquito net. We were unfortunate and got to Madurai when there was a day of mourning so absolutely all restaurants and shops were closed. However, Jerayaman was kind enough to share with us their food and invited us to a tasty lunch. He is very kind and will help you arrange your taxi and your walks around the city. A very pleasant stay in Madurai!

Me and my husband had a wonderful time with Rabina and her family. It was a pleasure to stay with them and we even ended staying more than we initially planned. Their house is very clean and spacious and walking distance from Thamel. It is very easy to get from their place to the centre. Our room was very pleasant, with a nice balcony and everything we needed. We had some lovely meals with them, Rabina cooked some amazing dhal bhat for us,and we enjoyed playing with their very cute daughters. We are sure that when we return to Kathmandu we will stay with them. It felt like home for us and we are grateful for that. Thank you!
