Joy and Glenn are very welcoming hosts and our stay was very enjoyable. Their house is in a lovely spot and the room and house are exactly as described. Would recommend.

Mary was very welcoming and friendly and in that respect we couldn't fault the stay. That said this is really for students or travellers who are not to fussy with the accommodation. It wasn't really what we are used to at home but the tariff was reasonable and we had to find somewhere at short notice and there was not a lot of choice close to Auckland so we can't complain.
