I live in the emblematic neighborhood of Palermo Viejo, full of stories so well described by Jorge Luis Borges in his novels. The magic of its architecture, shops and bars, complete a warm colorful scenery and required by young and not so young.
My apartment is on a very high floor, so that as well as being very bright, allows views of the city and its sunsets ignite the view from their windows.
I rent the room is very spacious with comfortable bed and bedside table, desk and library, a large closet, ceiling fan and heater. The living room is spacious, the balcony is like a winter garden. The kitchen has all the necessary comfort details.
I am a teacher now retired, now I am dedicated to receive foreign students and professionals. I love to travel, which I often do with my husband and friends. I sing in one of the most important measures of Argentina of symphonic and choral repertoires.
Additional Info
I speak English, so I have not had problems so far with my guests who do not speak Spanish. I know much about my city and my country, therefore I can recommend places to go. Also in the guest room, wall maps of the country and of the City of Buenos Aires, and much literature for them to internalize about where to go, directions, etc. I can offer breakfast and dinner if the guest request.

Leonor is a great host, very helpful, relaxed, and very easygoing! The place is in a really good location in Palermo Viejo/Soho, close to the city centre and not far away from Belgrano C! She will make sure that you feel welcome at BA and is always ready to help! :)

I enjoyed staying with Leonor! She is kind, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the city. Her apartment is in an excellent location with easy access to Palermo and Buenos Aires city center. There are many wonderful restaurants within a few blocks. The apartment is small but homey and clean, and the bed is very comfortable. I appreciated all of Leonor's recommendations for things to do, see, and eat around the city!!
For travelers new to staying in Buenos Aires: heads up that most Homestay hosts in Buenos Aires, including Leonor, want you to pay in USD cash. Be sure to bring enough USD cash with you for your entire stay, especially if you're moving between several homestays.
For travelers from the US: Leonor's apartment, like many apartments in Buenos Aires, doesn't have indoor heating or air conditioning. That means that 55 degrees Fahrenheit feels COLD (even though I'm from Colorado and used to 20 degrees F in the winter). If you're coming in southern hemisphere's fall/winter/spring, I highly recommend bringing more layers than you think you'll need. Including a scarf and hat!

5 hearts for Leonore, what a lovely human being! She was kind, gracious, and full of very good advise. She was my first homestay host on this platform. She was very thoughtful, helpful and considerate. I wish her all great happiness, and will ask to stay with her again in the future.

Leonor was extremely kind, helpful, informative and welcoming. From the moment I arrived I felt at home in Buenos Aires. She was always so friendly and willing to help me with anything, including which sights to see in the city. I was welcomed into her home and family, and was able to improve my Spanish a lot!
Leonor is also fluent in English, so if you don't speak Spanish, (hence why I am writing in English), she would still be the perfect host.
The food provided was excellent, well-priced and healthy. Leonor really does look after you well!
The bedroom is spacious and you'll have everything you need.
The apartment is also really well located - it is a lovely part of the city and really well connected to everything.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I am so glad I chose to stay here. Thank you ever so much for everything Leonor, muchísimas gracias por todo!
Siempre adelante!
