In our home we share one bathroom, one toilet, kitchen and living room.
We are one happy Christian family with one child, 6and a half year old Isaac Halldor Mariek. We are also fostering four orphans, three of them are in boarding program at the ABC Children's Home where we all work.
When the school breaks for holidays, they travel to the country side to visit their grandparents.

June 2015
I had a very good time by Hellen, Mike and Isaac ; they are a charming and lovely family. I really felt like part of the family, and when you're are staying in a place during two months, I think it's important to get this feeling. We had the possibility to share about our respectives lifes, families, problems, hopes and happiness, and I learned a lot about the kenyan culture through all the conversations we shared. I was sharing a room with two other girls, doing some volunteering in Nairobi, and it was also very nice to meet them ; when you're on your own in a city you don't know about, it feels good to have people around you with who you have the possibility to have time doing some activities, more or less touristics. When I'll come back in Nairobi, I'll definitely go back to Umoja, hoping for a good traffic, to pay a visit by Mike and Hellen ! Thank you again for everything you gave me, I feel very grateful about it !
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
