I did stay with Marian and Seamus and i have to admit i enjoyed every single day very much. The hospitality and support i have received was like staying with the own family and i can recommend this place for anyone who want a perfect environment (big room with all mod cons) for professional or leisure time close to the city center ( 30 minutes with bus) in a very quiet area.

Be warned Marian is a very good cook in other words wrong place in case you want to loose weight.

First of all, this house is located very clean and lovely place. Just only 20~30 min to get city centre.

Second, Seamus and Marian are the kindest person who I have met before in Dublin. Lovely couple always answer my questions very kindly. They will help you to adapting in Dublin life. In addition, they are interested in variety of news. I could talk about a lot of different topics with them in the morning.

Third, my room was very tidy and cozy. She changes my duvet and towels every week.

Next, Marian`s foods are very tasty. I could enjoy delicious food if I would order and pay.

Finally, Seamus likes reading books. You probably can get information about Irish history and social issues. It must help understand Irish culture.

I think that it is good advantages to stay with lovely Irish couple.

Marian & Seamus are the best hosts anyone could possibly ask for! Hot cup of tea upon arrival, comfy bed, friendly chat & recommendations, as well as knowledge on local public transport. They are so very friendly & made sure I felt so welcome! Without question went far above & beyond, with my frazzled, rushed circumstances upon arrival.
I don't know what I would have done without your lovely, friendly faces! Thank you so much, & I hope we meet again!

Marian and Seamus are the perfect hosts. They did everything to make me feel happy at their home. And it worked. I had the perfect stay in Dublin. It is a little bit out of the center, but their house is only a couple of meters from the busstop and it felt good to be out of the busy center of Dublin for a couple of hours and it was very easy to take the bus, since they helped me out with it. So I can only recommand a stay at their lovely house in a lovely neighbourhood. I'm sure I'll go back!

I have never done a homeshare stay before, só I was a bit wary and somewhat anxious of this first "unknown" experience. However, às soon as I was unloading My suitcases from the cab and saw the face of Marian with a genuine and warm smile, I know then and there that somehow this first "unknown" experience will go nicely and smoothely for all concerned. Marian and her cheerful husband, Seamus, have made me feel só welcome that I almost felt at home. They have been só helpful, giving me valuable advice and local knowledge; thus making My efforts to settle In Dublin as smooth as possible.

As for the house, it is lovely and clean. I had My own room, which was very neat, with a desk, wall painitings, and a window overlooking a beautiful communal garden. I slept and awoke to the sound of birds singing. I had use of the kitchen and shower whenever I wanted. I sometimes sat with Marian and Seamus In the living room and had long conversations along with Marian's lovely carrot cakes. Seamus offered me the use of his collection of books, and also helped me print out a few things for My papwework off the Internet from his computer and printer.

I cannot thank Marian and Seamus enough for their hospitality and help. They are truly kind and welcoming. Ten out of ten.

We booked Homestay with Marian for our colleague Abdullah from Iraq, for his first month in Ireland. He received a very warm welcome and enjoyed his time with Marian and her husband Shaymus very much. The room was neat and clean and Marian's cooking is great; dinner each evening was something to look forward to. We would definitely contact Marian again if we were looking for accommodation for a friend/ colleague. 'Thank you' Marian and Shaymus for your hospitality.
