Nous sommes une famille de quatre personnes, moi, mon mari et deux fils âgés de 15 et 19 ans. Nous vivons dans un quartier calme à Birkirkara, Swatar. Nous avons une maison confortable avec un grand salon ouvrant sur une terrasse, où les clients peuvent prendre leur petit déjeuner. Les arrêts de bus pour La Valette, la capitale et le nord de Malte sont à seulement 3 minutes. Et si les clients ont besoin d'étudier ou de travailler à l'Université de Malte ou à l'hôpital général, cela ne se trouve qu'à 10 minutes à pied de ma maison. Nous hébergeons depuis 15 ans, nous avons donc une expérience dans le domaine et chaque invité est une nouvelle expérience pour nous. Nous aimons vraiment rencontrer des gens de cultures différentes.

Notre maison est située dans un quartier calme. Supermarchés, les coiffeurs et les salons de beauté sont dans la région aussi. Il est à seulement 3 minutes à pied de l'arrêt de bus et de plus, il se trouve à 10 minutes à pied de l'Université de Malte et de l'Hôpital général et aussi pour le centre de Birkirkara où l'on peut trouver plusieurs restaurants, cafétérias et boutiques de mode. Birkirkara est à seulement 15 minutes avec le bus de La Valette, la capitale de Malte.

Les hôtes peuvent offrir un petit déjeuner léger gratuit si ils/elles le souhaitent. Les petit déjeuner complet, et tous les autres repas (si votre hôte souhaite les fournir), pourront coûter un prix additionnel. Les repas et les paiements additionnels doivent être arranger avec vote hôte directement.

Règlement intérieur
Le respect les uns envers les autres est très important dans la maison. Il est interdit de fumer dans les chambres mais les clients peuvent fumer sur la terrasse.
Les clients qui viennent pour de longs séjours peuvent utiliser la cuisine. Cependant, les clients doivent acheter leurs propres boissons et nourriture. Un petit placard dans la cuisine sera réservé à l'usage des invités. Nettoyage après avoir utilisé la cuisine sera appréciée.
Il est uniquement permis de fumer à l'extérieur.

Sonia is a wonderful host, always accommodating, always friendly, always trying to make her guests happy, right from first contact. The room was fantastically comfortable and is especially suited for someone looking to study at the university. The neighborhood is great, quiet but still nicely connected to the rest of the island and especially to the university.

Nice and clean room. Sonia is very nice and helpful. There are a lot of bus stops near the house and you can get to all the sights without problems.

Lovely stay with Sonia and her family in Birkirkara. Five hearts to all four members of Sonia's family, their spotless house in good location and homey breakfasts.

This home is in a great location as there are many bus connections nearby, especially to the Bombi and Valletta transport hubs, Rabat and the Gozo ferry. There's a couple of grocery stores on the same block as the house. The house and the neighbourhood are very pleasant, away from crowded touristy resorts, you get to live "where the Maltese really live" and all that at a really great price. The town of Birkirkara itself, as well as the nearby Msida, are very worth exploring, full of intriguing spots that are largely untouched by most mainstream tourists, which in my opinion it's another attractive aspect of staying in this location. Sonia is very welcoming, attentive and flexible and the breakfast she offers is simple but more than sufficient to start off the day with good energy.

Sonia was really helpful right from the start, emailing back to me as I needed to know how near her house was to where I was going to be for the week.
All the family were welcoming and friendly, giving me local information re buses, directions to places of interest, details of a reliable cab company etc. Sonia was brilliant even when I rang her - twice!- very late as I'd got lost getting back.
I slept well each night and own separate bathroom for homestay guests was good.

Lovely family with a nice and clean home. The bus connection to Valletta and other places of interest is perfect, too. I enjoyed my stay a lot and the family helped me whenever I needed help or advice. Thank you so much!

Thanks Sonia and Steve for your kind hospitality. We really enjoyed a lot our stay with you. Very nice family and comfortable house, not only for the nice and clean rooms but also for the good position. Birkirkara is ideal for those who are interested in visiting all the best places of Malta. Thanks again for your suggestion not to hire the car. Malta busses are the best way to move all around and let you relax at the same time. We definitively recommend this house and family for your stay in Malta :) Barbara Dario Bea and Vicky
