About the Homestay
Hi, We live in a 4 bedroom detached house. I am Irish and my wife is Polish. Ursula and I are married since 2014 and have an 18 month old son. It has 4 double rooms and 2 bathrooms. It has been been renovated extensively. Our house is a 25 minute walk to city center or 15 minutes on bicycle. There is excellent wifi in the house. There is a 400m2 large rear garden a 90m2 front garden (still being landscaped). The available room is a double room with it's own bathroom and shower but not en-suite.

Kilkenny (Irish: Cill Chainnigh, meaning "church of Cainnech")is the county town of County Kilkenny in the province of Leinster in south-east Ireland.Kilkenny is a tourist destination, and its environs include historic buildings such as Kilkenny Castle, St. Canice's Cathedral and round tower, Rothe House, Shee Alms House, Black Abbey, St. Mary's Cathedral, Kilkenny Town Hall, St. Francis Abbey, Grace's Castle, and St. John's Priory. Kilkenny is also known for its craft and design workshops, the Watergate Theatre, public gardens and museums. To access Kilkenny it is a direct 25 minute walk to town. It is 15 minutes by bicycle. There is direct bus and rail links to Dublin. There are many festivals and activites in Kilkenny and always lots to do.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
