Maison simple et paisible sans fioritures, et l'essentiel est bien là car c'est important de se sentir bien dans la maison de quelqu'un d'autre. Rosalie est une personne discrète et accueillante, souriante et courtoise. Que demander de plus dans un pays tel que Malte ! Son village est agréable et serein. Je souhaite à Rosalie beaucoup de bonnes choses pour elle et pour son enfant car elle le mérite vraiment ! Ses toutous sont super gentils et remplis de tendresse. My family stayed with Rosalie for 7 nights in June and we loved it! The house looks small from the outside but it is built in such a way that inside there is enough room for everything. The interior design styled by Rosalie makes the house special and cosy; we felt quite at home there. I loved waking up to the crows of the cocks in the neighbouring yard every morning. Cannot help mentioning the dogs who also made our stay unique. Actually we didn't see much of Rosalie, but the dogs were always there to welcome us when we came home (ah, we're surely gonna miss them!). If you're looking for a quiet, somewhat remote place, Mgarr is a good choice. In spite of its solitude, there are shops where you can find everything from dairy products to fruit and veggies and a few eateries (if you feel like eating out). The nearest beach (Gnejna) can be reached on foot in 20-30 minutes, depends on your pace. Though the Gnejna beach may be not an ideal place to swim (too shallow for me), there is plenty of ground to explore around it - magnificent cliffs from which breathtaking views open onto the sea below. Besides, the next beach (Ghain Tuffieha), our favourite, is within walking distance - just across the cliffs. Finally, the public transport may be frustrating at times (e.g. on holidays), but on the whole the buses run on schedule.
