Nani made me feel like I was part of the family from the first day I arrived. They were staying in a very basic home at the time, but did their best to make it as comfortable as possible for me, by giving me the nicest room in the house and offering me to sit on a chair whenever everyone else was sitting on the floor.
I got to know Nanis whole family, who are all such loving and great people. Kara (her daughter) was always interested, asking if I need anything and became like a little sister to me. I went to the beach with Nanis mum, to the sandunes with her kids and got taken out to what you call "nightlife" in Fiji by her neffue.
When I was sick Nani cared for me like a mum. And when I was healthy she was there for me as a friend (&mum - she is very caring)
If you want to experience real Fiji Lifestyle and get to know the best people ever don't hesitate to stay with Nani! It will be a unique experience! Be aware that it's not gonna be like a stay in a expensive resort though, coming here was quite a culture shock for me... (:
I will NEVER forget my time here and miss everyone in this crazy family so much! Keep in touch and hopefully see you again one day! :)
