The host himself knows no English what so ever. All rules, guidelines and so forth is written in ununderstandable google translate English. The host has a helper, a young sweet girl, who cleanes and tries to translate for the host, she is very helpful, and she is the reason for me actually giving the stay two harts. However it does not seem like he is very respectful towards her.

I had written messages to the host, trying to make an agreement for me to stay longer, previous to my stay. The host responded to these messages, with google translate, and it seemed like he agreed upon this. However when I arrived, he denied that he had ever received those messages. Even though he has answered them, which left me in a very uncomfortable situation with no place to stay. Luckily I found a place, but no thanks to them.

The place is however nicely located, and very clean. You can use the kitchen facilities, when they are free of cause, you will have to share them with numerous others, sometimes there are an hour and a half of waiting time before you can use the kitchen. The same goes for the toilets, which of cause is extreamly busy in the morning and evening, where you would have to wait 20 minutes or more to go to the toilet.
There are two showers, in total, also very busy, if possible try to shower in the middle of the day, that seemed to be the only time that they are really free.

And then there is the noise. Guests are asked to be quiet at 10 (curfew at 12) but that is only written very poorly on a peace of paper in the kitchen, which nobody notices. So a lot of noise. People checking in and out in the middle of the night, haunting their luggages op and down the stairs. Talking and having fun in the hall, making it impossible for people to sleep.

Overall terrible place, terrible host, nice and clean though.

We had a wonderful stay at Mr Sangun Na's homestay. Mr Na is friendly & helpful Sapporo Papa. He let us use the kitchen but of course we cleaned up properly after use. It was the 1 day tour that we arranged with Mr Na made our trip complete & fruitful. He took more than 600 photos for us & all the photos turned out to be great & professional. He made us feel that we are all photogenic models !! Thanks Mr Na for the laughters we shared & the unforgettable journey we spent together for the good 3 days. Thank you !

I've stayed at this place just after the Sapporo winter festival and quite enjoyed it. The house is big with a lot of rooms and located within a short walking distance from the train station. It's clean and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The neighborhood is quiet and as a light sleeper I was not woken up by anything during the night. Sangun-san is very welcoming and he explained in detail which places to visit and what not to miss. Will definitely stay here if I come back to Sapporo!
