We live in a 3 bedroom house behind 4 units across the road from the famous Kirra Beach which is patrolled all year round.
We live in an older style house but its very homy so we have been told. We have a separate lounge room and a average size kitchen/dinning room.. Our house is elevated so it gets a nice breeze through the house. The rooms are a good size especially the front room. We only have 1 bathroom and 1 toilet but they are separate and this has served our family well.
Max works in the surfing industry and is self employed and I am a volunteer worker and work part time in retail. We enjoy doing surf road trips. We are a non smoking family.
We are a very hospitable family and we love life. We like meeting people from all nationalities and enjoy learning about there culture especially food.
We have a good selections of cafes and restaurants around us. We are 50 meters from local transport and 3 minutes to the beach.
We are in a great position especially for students. We are only 10 minutes walk to Southern Cross University, an 10-15 minutes walk to the Gold Coast Airport. Also we are 15-20 minutes walk to Coolangatta shops and 25 minutes walk to Tweed University. We have a bus service to Bond University as well.

We speak English in our house and we only have street parking. If you have a car it will be safe on the street as long as you lock it

About the Area
Our house is between Kirra Point and North Kirra. We are about 5 minutes to the water.
The bus stop is about 50 meters from our place and there are lots of options you can take. The bus can take you to South to Kingscliff Tafe or North to Bond University or Suffers Paradise.
Our place is a 10-15 minute walk to the Southern Cross Uni and the Gold Coast Airport. Also it's 15-20 minutes walk to Coolangatta and around 20-25 minutes walk to Tweed Uni.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
