Executive suburban home. We are a friendly professional working couple minutes away from a shopping centre that has a Dr + Dentist, supermarket etc. We live in a warm modern four bedroom, 2 bathroom home, lovely garden and outdoor area. We are approx 15 minutes by bus to the city. We live close to some christchurchs lovely parks and walking tracks, the beach 20 minutes away by car. We offer homestay to female only. We have a small Westie terrier dog that is super friendly.

I had the best time staying in Christchurch with the Patersons. Deb and Bryce were always willing to help out and they were so welcoming. I felt at home and was sad to leave it. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to New Zealand and will stop by Christchurch to say hi. Thanks for everything Deb!

I had a great time at this homestay. I was in Christchurch for three months for a work related project at the University of Canterbury, and the daily commute by bus was doable in around 40 minutes. It was worth it though, because Debs' and Bryce's place was the perfect place to stay in a very good part of town. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, even picked me up from the airport. I felt at home immediately, yet I was able to follow my own schedule. I had the best time! We definitely became friends over the time, and my husband and I recently went back to visit.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
