I leave alone in a isolated old farm house, in the SW Alentejo (Portugal), and I am renting 2 rooms (up to 2 persons per room). The rest of the house is to be shared: living/dinning room, bathroom (shower) and outdoors. The nearest village is 6 km away (3 in dirt road). I do the transfers if necessary (I have a 4x4) but in spring and summer the house is accessible by normal car. This is the perfect place to relax, take walks in the nature surroundings, get hands dirty on the garden, play with the children in the small playground... The beaches (Milfontes) are 15 km away (20 minutes driving). We (me and my neighbors) usually bake bread once a week in the old kitchen oven, my diet is Mediterranean based, but most of the meals are vegetarian, and most of the goods local (some come from my small veg garden (organic)).

About the Area
My house is 10 minutes away from Cercal do Alentejo and from São Luis. These 2 locations would be the meeting points. From there, we drive 10 minutes towards the wilderness.

Meals

Keep noise to a minimum after midnight. Feel free to use the kitchen but please clean up after! Extra meals can be prepared, upon booking.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
