I live in the leafy suburb of Harborne Birmingham in a 4 bed-roomed semi detached house. share the house with my daughter who is 24 year and just returned to Birmingham University for an MA course. We are non smokers and I do not have any pets . We have a good sized rear garden and room for two cars to park on the drive at the front of the house. Our home is fully centrally heated and double glazed. This is a very friendly and safe neighborhood occupied in the main by professional people. The room on offer is a double room with TV and Wi Fi. a small kitchenette with fridge freezer, Double hob, Microwave/Grill, Kettle, Toaster, sink and storage cupboards. It also has its own bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin. All fully centrally heated. Accessed through the house porch it has its own entrance and a door leading to my kitchen (fire escape) both door's can be locked. Smoke detector. Two minute walk to bus stop with a regular service into Harborne Village or Birmingham city center. Within walking distance of Birmingham University and Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Convenient for the brasshouse Language collage.

About the Area
Located in the suburb of Harborne our house is 10 mins walk to Birmingham University, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and University Train station where there is a train every 10 mins into Birmingham City Center which takes 12 mins. 2 mins walk to a bus stop where every 10 mins there is a bus into Birmingham City about 25 mins journey. Convenient for the Brasshouse Language College. There are local shops in the high street and a monthly farmers market. We have many bars, pubs and restaurants within walking distance ranging from pubs to Michelin starred establishments. Local gyms and swimming pools within 10 mins walk.

House Rules
Noise to be kept to a minimum. If friends are to visit I would like to be informed and they must leave by midnight. No overnight stays unless agreed with myself. No Smoking in the house. Ensure all outside doors are secured. Enjoy your stay.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
