My name is Veronica. My apartment is 5km from CBD, with public transport close by. I have 1 Double room available to homestay guests. The room is beautifully appointed with modern furnishings, overlooking large private balcony and treed aspect leading to Yarra River complex. The room suits 1 guest.
I am 56 years old, an English teacher with varied interests, including music, films, reading and learning about other cultures.
Additional Info
There is no better way to learn a foreign language than to speak it in everyday situations. Your host Veronica offers qualified language instruction (Master of Teaching qualification) in her native language English. One hour of instruction costs 35. 00 AUD. The classes will be given by the host herself at the accommodation. There is ample parking within the precinct.

House Rules
A refundable Bond is payable on arrival for guests staying for 1 month or longer. The Bond will be refunded less any damage or loss of items from the apartment.
Please do not adjust the heat/cool settings yourself, ask me and I will happily do it for you.
This also applies to dishwasher, laundry facilities and other equipment.
Keep noise to a minimum after midnight please.
Please do not invite strangers into our home; if you would like to invite a friend over just agree it with me in advance.
There is a small daily fee paid in advance on arrival, which covers utilities, unlimited internet and incidentals which the host supplies.

Cancellations of the booking, attract a fee not less than half the booking.

Hello homestay,
My esperience with homestay was first time.I have to say that Veronica is a superb host very kind,understanding and helpful.She accepted me all thought I arrived late from overseas at 11pm.The only inconvint was that its quit far away from the train but summer and spring time its a great walk.In the other hand the area by the river is wonderfull for bicles and walking.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
