Spacious and newly renovated Unit located within a double brick block of 18 Units. The balcony overlooks a well kept landscaped garden and the Unit is conveniently located in the quiet, leafy and safe suburb of Lane Cove.
Private, spacious and newly renovated guest room with a large single bed and built in wardrobe that has plenty of space for one person. You will also have private access to a newly renovated bathroom that has shower, toilet, basin, vanity and bath tub.
The Unit is located in Lane Cove as part of the very beautiful North Shore area. The Unit is in a very safe and quiet residential neighbourhood with close proximity to local shopping malls, libraries and sporting facilities, and great public transport links to the City, Chatswood and the beach. If driving, 15mins to the City, 5 mins to Chatswood and 15-20 mins to the nearest beach. Otherwise, opposite the Unit there is a bus with frequent services (often every 10 minutes during peak hour) that will take you to the City in 15 mins and Chatswood in 10 mins.
I live in the Unit by myself and work in the City, and on the rare occasion I may work from home. My main hobby is sport, I go to the gym and see friends regularly, and I enjoy travelling. I'm happy to give you advice and help out if you need but I also won't be offended if you want to be independent as I can keep to myself.

Preferred payment is cash and a deposit payment prior to arrival to be discussed with guest.
Smoking of any sort is not allowed.
No pets.
No parties.
Other guests / friends to visit can be discussed with host.
Keep noise to a minimum after 9pm please.
Other bedrooms and host’s bathroom are all out of bounds to guests.
Please help keep kitchen and bathroom areas clean and tidy, by cleaning up your own spills.
Please notify of any stained bed linen or towels, so they can be washed. Fresh linen is always available.
Please notify of any spills or stains immediately.
Please don’t wear shoes from outside into the house.
Please be mindful of bringing dirt or sand into the house.
Host happy to help with laundry once per week.
Please notify me prior to having any mail or parcels delivered to obtain permission to use host’s address.
Please take care of your house keys. Loss of keys & replacements costs will be billed to you directly.
Please avoid food preparation and disposing food waste in the guest bedroom and bathroom.

My stay with George was very pleasant. He's kind and generous, provided me with the essentials (towel, blanket, toiletries) and I was able to use the kitchen, washing machine and ironing board as I needed, as long as I kept everything tidy. His home had a separate toilet for the guests, which was a plus point. The house, the room and the toilet were all clean and comfortable.
The location is good, not too far from the city although its a quiet neighbourhood and the closest hypermarket/restaurants area is about 2km away. There are two bus services to take me to either Wynard train station or Chatswood, however the timings of the bus services are erratic, so it's best to plan trips early and check for availability ahead of the time you need to travel (I used Google maps and the timings are quite accurate).
If you're looking for a cozy place in a quiet neighbourhood with a chilled and friendly host, staying with George would be a great option!

Cozy, Convenient, and Welcoming!
George's Home Stay is a fantastic choice for travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient place to stay. The newly renovated interior creates a fresh and inviting ambiance, while the one bus ride to the city makes it easy to access all the attractions. The private bathroom is a great convenience, and George himself is a friendly and gracious host. Highly recommended for a cozy and welcoming home away from home!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
