About the Area
Our home is located in a very quiet street with a large park nearby.
It is a safe and nice area!
Yarrabilba is a new town in the City of Logan and is a thriving community!
Easy shopping at our nearby shopping mall, 2 minutes drive away. And we have the most amazing parks!
Logan Village and Jimboomba are closely linked with Yarrabilba where you can find:
Supermarkets, Australia Post, Banks, ATM's, Justice of the Peace (free), great restaurants and cafes, McDonald's, KFC, Domino's pizza. Tobacconist and Bottle Shops.
Newsagent, Chemist, Doctors, Pathology, Dentist, Xray, Chiro, Physio, Vet, Pet Store, Hairdressers, Barber, and also retail and clothing stores.
There are huge shopping malls and Ikea that we drive to and make a day trip of.
The stunning bushland, waterfalls, forest hiking trails, lookouts and picnic areas of Mt Tamborine are a short drive away. It's a magical place!
Day trips to Brisbane, Toowoomba and the Gold Coast are very popular.
The Gold Coast's Golden Beaches are a beautiful attraction! Relax on the beautiful white sand, swim in the clean ocean (please swim between the red and yellow flags) or just walk along the sand (we take our shoes off in Australia) or boardwalk. Surfing and body boarding are very popular! Snorkel or scubadive in the Broadwater. Please do not swim in the canals as it is dangerous and there are sharks.
Theme parks include Dreamworld, SeaWorld, Movie World, White Water World and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
There are also heaps of fun things to do if you are an adrenaline junkie, like Parasailing on the Broadwater, JetBoats, Reverse Bungee, or indoor Skydiving. Maybe a helicopter ride, V8 Supercar or a climb up to Skypoint at Q1!
Whale watching is also a very popular attraction.
Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach have amazing nightlife with clubs, bars and many restaurants.
Brisbane is the beautiful Capitol city, situated on the river. Southbank is located here.
Public transport is very easy and convenient. Buy a pass (go card) and top up money online. Tap on and Tap off the train, bus, ferry or tram. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk.
