Hello everyone!
This is a lovely family home, Lea and my daughter Julia, where we offer all the comfort and space for the relax you need. Rio de Janeiro is a city that does not stop, and at the end of the day, you know very well be able to rest and feel at home. We are surrounded by forest, so it will feel very close to nature, without any fuss. We offer 3 double rooms, accommodating a maximum of 06 people.
The house is large and fully equipped with everything you might need - if anything is missing, we will do our best to provide. You can use the kitchen without problems and we offer breakfast every day.
It also has a pool that becomes fundamental in this city where temperatures drop to 45 degrees!
Finally, we will be pleased to know our kittens that conquer everyone.
The house is in the neighborhood of Laranjeiras, residential and extremely safe. It is located 10 minutes walking from bus stops that go all over the city (Ipanema, Copacabana, Leblon, Botanical Garden, Lapa, etc.) and 15 minutes from the subway. To go see Christ the Redeemer, we are only 15 minutes away!
Around the hostel you will find restaurants, pharmacies, banks, everything. Every saturday there is a street market with live music right beside next to us.

The Neighborhood
My neighborhood is quiet, safe and close to nature, which provides a pleasant environment and contact with typical animals of Rio de Janeiro, as monkeys and birds. Besides having great food and local market just 10 minutes from the Hostel.
Coming and going
The nearest metro station is Largo do Machado. You can also find the bus station close to the Hostel. Taxis are another good option for the main places which costs 15-20 reais the ride.
Coming from the international airport the best option is to get a taxi because the hostel is located in a high street, the ride costs 45-55 reais, and it takes 30-40 minutes.
If you are coming from the national airport you can either get a bus or a taxi, the ride costs 15-25 reais, and it takes 15-20 minutes.

House Rules
The house is located in Laranjeiras neighborhood which is very residential and extremely safe. 10 minutes walking from the bus station that can take you everywhere in Rio (Ipanema, Copacabana, Leblon, Botanical Garden, Lagoon, etc) and 15 minutes to the metro station.
Guests have access to Pool, TV Room, Kitchen and Common Areas.
We are always avaible to give you informations and tips to the best places in Rio. There is always someone from our team around.
We have cats in our Hostel. If you are allergic to them, please let us know so we can place them away from the common areas.
It is not allowed to to transit with swimwear inside common areas of the hostel, only on the pool area.
The pool has time for opening and closing for maintenance of the same.
Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am.
Due to state law, it is necessary to reduce the sound in the external areas of the hostel after 10pm.
No individual other than guests are allowed inside the hostel.
You may be charged a booking fee of up to 50% before arrival on holidays season and special events in Rio de Janeiro.
A 15% booking fee can be charged to ensure your reservation on regular dates.
Check-in is after noon and Check-out has to be made until noon.
If the stay extend the time of check-out, a fee can be charged.
In case of late check-in, please inform us in advance via e-mail or phone.
Parking is on the street with 24 hours security, in front of the hostel.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
